"Let he who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast for it is a human number, the number is 6 6 6."Revelations 13 ,18
6 angels+6 triangels+6 straight lines=Israeli Star.

Since the emergence of state of Israel in 1948, "alterations" have
been made to history due to suspicious "discoveries":
1- Translation of the above verses have been altered as follows:
-..reckon the number of the beast for it is the "number of a MAN" ( instead of the previously accepted translation: "a human umber")
-(it has been found (by Jewish historians) that the number is not 666, but either 616 or 665!
2- Pope declared the Jews innocent from the blood of Jesus .
3-666 became considred code for NERO!

Could it be that the "Beast" has been finally able to fool everybody in the 20th century, made a flag of its ancient mark and transformed all the historical suspicion towards it into empathy?

Many scholars have pointed out that applying gematria to the full name of Nero results in 666. Nero executed his own mother and many relatives, so he wouldn't hesitate to torture to death Jewish slaves who criticized him in the slightest manner. As a student of ancient history, I see many obvious references to Rome in the part that mentions the beast, so the explanation is much less convoluted than you believe it to be. The REAL Beast has been dead nearly 2000 years, so forget him in realation to 2007!

"Whoa to you, Oh Earth and Sea. For the Devil sends the Beast with Wrath, because He knows His time is short. Let Him who hath understanding, reckon the Number of the Beast; For it is a Human Number. It's Number is, Six hundred and sixty-six."

I think that it is not Nero, or the Jewish Star, or any of those mentioned above; although you make some really good points and all, the real "message" is contained in a different name with six letters.

Eddie.(five letters) short for Edward (six letters) Devil (five letters) Eddie Maiden, to be precise. In the true form of the name Edward Maiden, Six letters, in each. Then the word, Devil - Take the "D", "E", & "I" = "Die"; equate that to Ed"die"; Pretty freaky, stuff.

You are absolutely right. Life is not always what it seems. The "Beast" is what makes all the religious zealots waste so much of the precious time that Life has afforded them, only to spend it trying to figure out what a few "guys" had in mind when they "wrote a book" a couple thousand years ago. I, personally love that passage from "Revelation". It made an awesome "intro" to one of the best Heavy Metal songs ever written. Other than that, well, I've got better things to do with my life, than worrying about what's going to happen "tomorrow" when I can spend all my time enjoying and getting the most I can out of "today".
May you find Peace in your Journey.

First off you have a few discontinuity in your thoughts. One minute you are pointing out a star with six angles and six lines and six triangles (666) then you make reference to Nero being 666. Then you go on to point out that 666 is not the right number but 625 or 665 instead. confusing.

Then you go onto point out that it should it is a number of A man. then what is your point about Israel they are a nation a people. The people chosen by God. I think you are confused and trying to prove something that is a stretch and not there at all. You have to look at what you have and then come to a conclusion. Do not come to a conclusion and then look at what you have.

I agree, nice theory! But 666 isn't necessarily the original translation, 616 and 665 both appear in ancient bible editions.
