To point out that stories like Adam & Eve or Noah's Ark or the Tower of Babel can't possibly be literal truth, they're clearly allegories and myths dreamed up to explain the (what was at the time) unexplainable. Every culture has them and people accept them for what they are, not try to force everybody to think they are real. It seems like only in America and Islamic countries do (some) people take any discussion of religion other than unqualified praise as an attack. Funny we have that in common...

I have no problem as a christian if you chose not to believe the Bible is literal fact. I do take exception to those that question the intelligence or make out right statements that to believe in God or the Bible you must be uneducated, stupid, lack common sense, etc..etc..
As for Adam and Eve, there is no way that we can or cannot prove their existence. As for the Ark and the flood, and the Tower of Babel, if you were to search archeology( See University of Pennsylvania ) there is in fact some very convincing evidence of a major flood at approx the time stated in the Bible. Flood deposits of 5 ft and more have been found in the ancient cities of UR all the way north of the first site of Babylon. They also have found the ruins of a ancient tower, and records of an attempt to build it in Babylonian records. Proof that the Bible's account is accurate, no. Opens the possibility that it is though.

Now I wonder why people would create the story Adam and Eve, or Noah's Ark (by the way, the remains of the Ark have been found, did you know that?!)

No my friend, it is you who does not have a clue about Truth.

May you keep seeking to find and may He lead you and guide you in all your way.

Blessings upon you friend.

You know, i think you're completely right. I think Those stories are exactly that; stories. Not meant to be talked literally. I mean, we all know that Jesus himself told parables or stories to relate a point or teach a lesson. So, why couldn't stories like Noak's ark and Adam & eve be inturaped as the same? stories meant to relate a point or teach a lesson?

I believe that the Bible is truth, inspired by God and written by humans.

You have your free will. Your opinion does not change the truth at all.

Just because you don't believe it, doesn't make it wrong.

At one time, scientists thought the world was flat, and they were wrong.
