...if the Laws (a lot of the OT) were only made for the Jews? What's the point then of having the OT? And, if the Laws were only for the Jews, why do the Christians keep the Ten COmmandments? I mean, they're part of the Laws for the Jews as well...

I am confused! Doesnt it say in leviticus 11 that christian are not allowed to eat port-or swine as it says in the bible? As well as lobsters. As they are unclean. This is right, since pork is really bad for ones health!They eat what ever you throw then. And lobster, well, they are cleaners, they eat all the filth that is at the bottom of their environment.

humans or Homoerectus are simply animals? We have a high intelligence yet we lack in most other departments such as speed ability to naturally defend our selves long painful births some of the most defencless less babies drama problems fears of small insignificant insects think we are something important and tend to look down on other creatures and call them dumb. An example: "Wow lions are f-word dumb he ran right into the bars of that cage trying to get his food!" Well that dumb lion can rip you to shreds and did you ever think that lions don't naturally live in cages and hunt and aren't fed?

And books such as the bible say that we are special? No were not, We pretend to be because humanity is on a power trip.

Another thing is that humans are really dumb for smart people. "Let's just keep on hunting endangered animals and live in their territory!. Lets just hunt for fun also. Ya know since that logical and God said we can.

This has been my rant for today. Thank you.

I heard the strangest thing on AM talk radio:
They said trees were evidence of god because God knew there would be fertile land and rocky land, thats why god made so many kinds of trees.

but why didnt god make all the land fertile?
why didnt he make trees edible so there would be no starving people?

this sounds like more of like proof of evolution to me.

Most (if not all) pro-lifers I've talked to say it is morally permisible to take the life of a non-human primate (like a chimp or bonabo), if it is needed for meat or is doing something like destroying your crops.

But they say it is not OK to end the life of a zygote or embryo.


But what if some other non-human primates had not gone extinct?

What if today their were extant Australopithecus, or Homo habilis? Would it be OK or not to take their lives or to abort their young?

Where do you draw the line, and why?

What do they think that Jesus died for?

Jesus said that we have to repent of all of our sins, not just the ones that we don't mind living without.

How can Christians repent of sins that, because of pride and politics of the culture, they refuse to admit is a serious sin?

Repent means to turn away from and to go in the opposite direction, like doing a U-turn.
