This is a very difficult question to answer. The data varies widely and there is no one correct answers. The three I hear most often, that seem to have the best data:

1. Islam
2. Fundamentalist Christianity
3. Paganism (thank the Goddess!)

Agnosticism. Consider how many agnostics there were 500 years ago. Everyone will come around at some point... that day that the world becomes a much more peaceful place.

Last statistical poll I read said it was Islam, by leaps and bounds.

My guess would be because Islam paints it's "heaven" as a fleshly-filled porno delight where all of our desires can be fulfilled. (sex, drink, food, etc etc).

This is in direct contrast of course, to the Heaven of the Holy Bible, wherein we will be given tasks according to our deed here on Earth and there is no sex or marriage there.
