I am looking at all the answers here and the overwhelming majority if not all is "NO" but i am here to say that what you are asking says to me you have done some reading and so i will tell you something...the answer is "YES"...
Adam and Eve technically are products of evolution and as such, like the rest of us, are made up of "junk DNA" which DOES to this day include genes for "Gills". They do exist and can be found at our early fetal development in our mommys. We also have tails which disappear after 2 months of the pregnancy stage.
Technically, these are known as vestigial traits from our evolutionary past and dont have any use for them in our lives...but the genetic code for them stille exists in everyone today, regardless of what they hope isnt true...that we are all animals...
I was reading some years back that from a genetic standpoint there was 1 eve and 2 adams...they know this by following back the mitocondria of women, cant recall waht they follow back for men. It turns out Adam and Eve lived in Africa...Kenya to be exact.
