Hi everyone,I am not originally from Australia and I speak good English.However,i have no idea whether the following sentence is grammatically correct: "He hitched his trousers up before sitting down." I know if I say "he hitched up his trousers" then it would be
absolutely OK,but how about "hitch xx up"??

Since it will not be long until the start of the tribulation period,what part of the world do you think the dictator will come from? The Bible prophecies proclaim that the war that will kill 1/3 of mankind will start at the Euphrates river (Which 80% of that river is in Iraq, and a little in Iran). Simple, we have 150,000 +++ troops there right now and it doesn't seem to be getting better. Oh yeah, we'll have more troops there early next year. Does anyone else find this prophetic????

Today to say you all good Christians and believers that Yahoo answer is a supportive service but at the same time it spreads every good and bad words. Once I got such question which was against christ, maybe it has been sent by an antichrist. Then I tried on doubting christ which was my life's greatest mistake. After few days I got a spiritual vision of hell and warnings and I was also directed to go through the Bible through christ. Next morning I opened my bible and fortunately God provided me a wonderful verse which says "HOLD ON". This two words was invaluable and life changing answer to me. Dear brothers and sisters in christ, you all should hold on which means to keep on his word without being fallen into the worldly attraction of this world till he comes to take us. I feel pity on the people who writes such words which is against christ as they are waiting for hell than heaven after they die. The false Da-Vinci Code was approved fiction and untrue be History channel.FEEDBACK????

i Don't want offensive answers and I do not hate Bi people or gays at all, But I am hell of uncomftorable around them, I have my morals and thoughts of it and I just think its wrong...I accuse my best friends if they are bi or gay...Like on myspace and If i find out they are I delete them...I try accepting them but the insecurities still there..I don't want therapy or pills..I just need some help dealing with this insecurity..

Not 'What is your example of Truth?', but ultimately, what is the Truth that makes people so angry and froth at the jowls ... ready to kill, to defame, to pillage without regard?

Why does the concept of a Truth cause such misery in the world?

Who is it that thinks they can make the world perfect or even make a sliver of a difference? Who is this great mind amongst billions? Another Hitler, or a Ghandi? Neither one worked. Why not let it be and be grateful for the time you have and learn to love it is a lot more fun? Lack of appreciation is the point here, so many are spouting about how America is bad and Britain and Rome? How about throwing stones at ourselves, because we are in drastic need of humilty and appreciation for one another right? I mean we cant even get along on this site half the time but we arent even grateful that we have the freedom of speech to do this, thanks to President Bill Clinton? or did you not know that they wanted to take this away back in 1998 and all would be censored? So why not appreciate and try to change your own life and be a little nicer to each other?

steal so many of its symbols from other religions. For example:

The cross is the Pagan symbol for femininity, the fish is the Pagan symbol for fertility.

It just makes no since that God would wait for so long to send a Son down to Earth and let all these people find other religion then allow his followers to actually intergrate the symbols that symbolize other Gods to mean that he is God.
