Your destiny is made up of the things that you think about. What ever you think about sends signals into the Universe via the Brain and the Universe responds to your thoughts and sets up your destiny. For instance. I thought one day that I would marry a Spanish speaking woman. That is what I wanted. So I began to learn Spanish. In less than a month latter a Spanish speaking Girl from Venezuela came and applied for a jab where I was working. I saw her and asked the Manager to hire her. I really didn't try hard at all to go after her in fact she came after me. The thing is that we shape our own destiny with our thoughts. It is an ancient secret. The law of attraction. The more you focus on what you want the more likely you are to get it. The more you think about what you don't want has the opposite effect and you get what you don't want. It is very tricky. So you must be careful of what you think about because you will get both what you want and what you don't want. So don't focus on what you don't want. I have notice that I always get what I want and what I don't want and wondered why for the longest time. Our minds are very powerful tools. When the majority are thinking bad thoughts, bad things happen. Like war for instance. The majority don't want war wich is why we have war. You think people are walking around thinking they don't want peace? No! They are thinking in the negative and saying we don't want instead of saying we want. So if the majority started thinking we want peace, we would have peace. There are very few that know about how this works and it's about time that we told everyone instead of keeping it a secret. Our thoughts shape our destiny our thoughts shape our World. So be careful what you wish for because it will come true.

You make your own destiny and destiny can be changed according to your present action. Karma, after all, means, "action." You are today what you made yourself through your actions of yesterday; and tomorrow is determined by what you do today, by God's Grace. But we all have limitations, for example, I will always have the body that I was born with, in this life. We can exercise our body, improve our mind in all sorts of ways, but the basic structure we cannot really change. It's like a cow that is tethered to a stake. It has a certain area beyond which it cannot go; but it has freedom to move about within it's restricted area. That's my humble (OK, not so humble) opinion.

Can You Control Your Destiny?
IS OUR ultimate destiny predetermined? Do the choices we make in life have no effect on our future?
Suppose man is master of his own fate. In this case, could any individual be foreordained to perform a specific task or occupy a certain office? And how could God accomplish his will for the earth if humans were free to shape their own destiny?
The Bible clearly shows that the choices we make will alter our destiny. For example, God appeals to wrongdoers, saying: “Turn back, please, every one from his bad way and from the badness of your dealings . . . that I may not cause calamity to you.” (Jeremiah 25:5, 6) This appeal would be pointless if God had already fixed each individual’s destiny. Moreover, God’s Word states: “Repent, therefore, and turn around so as to get your sins blotted out, that seasons of refreshing may come from the person of Jehovah.” (Acts 3:19) Why would Jehovah ask people to repent and turn around if he knew beforehand that they could do absolutely nothing to change their destiny?
---we create it through our choices---

In the first place I believe your fated for a certain "destiny" through your own actions.
Many believe in the "butterfly" theory: if a butterfly in South America flutters it's wings it will take part in creating a hurricane of the coast of Florida. "Maybe" but also, your for warned of this "hurricane" so you can take the necessary shelter in advance, thus changing your destiny of perishing during that hurricane the "butterfly" started. Understand all this?
So, yes. I believe in "destiny" also in "Fate" of your own destiny.

I do. I believe that we are given something like a beginner's kit which we can bend and fold any which way we like. Every little action we do changes it. We have the ability to control some of the things in our lives, but other things were pre-destined. You don't just meet that special someone by coincidence, now do you?
