if world peace is forcasted to be attached with that personality then why has he not come ? so far only one progressive claim exists ( one from a reformer gruop in mozlems at ww.alislam.org ). what about other religions' messiah?

The signs have been ripening all through the history and preachers and pastors, evangelical or others, have been forecasting that it is just around the corner because of this or that but it always ended in lie. Some are trying to force the hands of God to expedite it but only the Almighty God knows the time of the second coming. Until then just be good and behave as the Almighty directed. Did you not see in 60s, 70s and 80s about Soviet going on rampage as one of the seven horsemen and then they shut up after the collapse of Soviet Union. Probably they might have said the same thing at the time of Hitler and they had shut up then too. They keep on shamelessly assigning different people and nations to be part of seven horsemen (or whatever) and then stop associating that menace with the 2nd coming when that menace disappear. So they shamelessly move to spew out poison against some other people. These days they sit as a couple; the man makes the statement and the female say "Oh yeah honey, Hallelujah".

If you look back, every generation since the death of Jesus has anticipated his return in their lifetime. All the generations past have fullfilled all the prophecys according to their interpretations.

For Cristian's the Messiah already came. peace is not in this world, its in his fathers House.
For non-Cristian's waiting for the messiah, i respect that, but peace is not meant in this world.
