I read a question about why people use hyphenated americans. DO I NEED TO REMIND PEOPLE THAT MAINSTREAM AMERICA DID NOT ACCEPT, ASIANS, BLACKS, AFRICANS, LATINOS, NATIVE AMERICANS, OR MIDDLE EASTERNERS AS AMERICANS? American called asians gooks, blacks *****, coloured, n*gger, latino spics, wetbackers, natives redskins, and middle easterners arab n*ggers. America constantly pointed out that we were anything but Americans! The hyphenated american was created when America pushed us aside and we formed our own identities.

P.S. Do people know the history of things before they spout off their mouths about stuff?

THe equivalent of the US National Academy of Sciences in Britain (including all western European nations including Canada and parts of the Middle east such as pakistan and india) is the Royal Soceity. Or better known as the Fellows of the Royal Society(FRS).

Cornwell and Stirrat study of the religious beliefes of the FRS

This elite society consists of exactly 1,074 Fellows of the Royal Society, all possesing an email adress. All where polled.
23% responded (good figure for this kind of study)
They were offered varios propositions for example: "i believe in a personal God, that is one who takes an interest in individuals, hears and answers prayers, is concerned with sin and transgressions and pass judgement."
They were to choose from 1 (strong disagreement) to 7 (strong Agreement)

The trend correlated strongly with the much larger study of the US National Academy of Sciences

The God in the bible is pictured as all knowing so why would he put a mark on Cain's head for protection from people who did not exist?

The final contest for world power will be between the muslims and the mormons. Which should win? Given that the bible lets us know that God will prevail, which of the two groups is the lesser evil?

"thanks for the points"
Let me explain something fatties. I do not care if you get 2 points, if your little lives are so sad that you care about 2 points, that is your business, why do you feel the need to tell me? I really dont care in the least.
If you really are so pathetic to care about such trivial things I shall award you 10 points, then you really can have an orrrgasm.

When the world dictator comes out, and I believe he is alive today, just has not come on the scene yet, he will force everybody ont he face of the earth to wear his personal identification number weather it is 666 or some other number I do not know. Without the chip in your right hand or forehead you cannot buy or sell anything. If you do get it you are toast, it will be all over for you. Guess what, people are starting to be chipped today, although it is not the mark of the Beast yet, so the technology is out for it today, it is called the verichip, the size of a grain of rice. Just say what I am saying is right, and I can tell you I am not wrong, would you end up getting the mark so you can buy and sell and then latter thrown into the lake of fire burning with brimstone, or refuse to take to mark and be shot if you came to faith in Jesus, which would you chose? Just curious.I will not even be here as I will be in Heaven then, but I know which I would chose, and that is the latter

I went to the bank today. A rude 20's something valley girl cut in front of me in line. She was chatting loudly on her cell phone. I told her, "excuse me, but there is a line here." She responded, "well, you were just standing there off to the side..." I said, "well, if you weren't on your cell phone, you might be paying more attention." Then it was a verbal war. The 50's something vs the 20's something. She then proceeded to give her complete credit card number loudly over the cell phone to a merchant she was talking to. I then said in a loud voice..."hey did you hear that...she's giving us all her credit card information!" I told her she was an idiot and finished my banking. Why do people on cell phones think the public cares to listen to their affairs of what they are having for dinner, who's picking up the kids, who sleeping with who, and hello...can you hear me...hello?

this is mostly directed to femmes. i'm a butch gal, and i was wondering what features do femmes find attractive in butch girls. i noticed that most of the butch girls where i live are kind of chubby, do femmes prefer a butch with a little meat? or do they prefer the muscular, tone type? this question popped into my mind when i was at the gym and i noticed a butch-femme couple outside.

Now, honestly. Is it really better for a child to be shuffled from foster home to foster home, and maybe be abused and unloved then to be raised by two loving parents who just happen to be the same sex? If christians don't want gays adopting, then what do they suggest should happen to all those unwanted and orphaned children? They won't just go away.

Look at this, Saddam maybe a murder, but when you KNOW for sure your time of death you have time to repent. Even if your Christian, catholic or Jew. We all believe that God is merciful, probably more then we will ever imagine. If Saddam had time to ask for forgiveness, and the last thing he did before he died is prayer. There is a very good possibility that he died with no sins. He repented. To be honest with you I rather die KNOWING when I will die and preparing for it then die an old lady not knowing will her soul will be taken. Right????

My Thai wife is a Buddist & I am Christain. The church at large is confused on this issue? My wife loves GOD as she understands him, just as I do & we blend quite well our belief system. She just dosen't know of Jesus or the Holy Spirt of the Bible. Which I figure that God can introduce them to her in his time. I know that Buddah said I am not god. But did he teach that there was NO GOD??
