When in the 1950's did Atheists burn books? Which Atheists? Which books? FYI, here's an article on book-burning. The most recent example is assorted churches which have burnt copies of Harry Potter.

athiests are not neccarily united. i guess those athiests didnt like books, personally, as an athiest i really enjoy books and wouldnt think of burning them. please, in the future dont blame "athiests" in general, or imply that they are inferior. athiests can ask hard questions too. a good example of monotheists disagreeing is the crusades. the crusaders simply felt the need to take over a city they felt was theirs. the occupants of the city (muslims at that time i belive) did not take too kindly to that, just as i do not like book burning.
Polytheism...well look up ancient history, and you will find plenty of wars.

Do you mean communists? They're not the same thing. Because all communists are supposed to be atheists does not imply that all atheists must be communists. If you believe that you have to believe that since all women are humans then all humans must be women!
