i hear that they want to overthrow the chinese government so the chinese government are prosecuting them.i am strongly against the group but i don't believe the government should be torturing them.its just inhumane to treat real people like a piece of meat. but then again ,i don't really know the full story

I was just reading an article about Taye Diggs and his wife Idina Menzel receving threatening letters about their marriage in 2004. He is African-American and she is Jewish-American (I believe), and the letters were threatening bodily harm against him because they are in an "interracial" marriage. That word really bugs me, I don't know why, probably because it really sounds like such a label, when marriage is supposed to be about love and building a future and family, regardless of your heritage or social background, or race. Anyway, I was just wondering what peoples opinions are about these types of threats, and if people think it is still prevelant in the US? What do you all think about this situation? Personally it makes me sick that someone would send such a letter to anyone, famous or not, its just disgusting and bigotry at its worst, not to mention really none of their business.

Today (while driving) I prayed or asked who ever maybe listening. I asked (who ever) IF you are listening I want to know you. I have become interested in the earth lately, I wonder what has made these creations or a least it seems to be a creation to me. I am not unhappy with my life or in some crisis etc...I'm just wondering if there is more to this human experience thing.

I asked that "if" there is some supernature force God/Jesus or some unknown being to make contact with me. That I am in fact willing to look deeper, that I am open for the possibility. I have thrown down the challenge if you will. I told the possible "being" that I am making the free will
choice to seek you out, the ball is in your court to return the call. I am now in the waiting period. I did this at 2:30 pm it's now 10:12 pm.

Any suggestions, I would appreciate any advice

My wealthy in-laws always get me "TJ Maxx" clothes in the wrong size and cheap housewares for Christmas. My sister-in-law, their daughter, always regifts me her employer's Holiday gift, as evidenced by the company name on the items (My brother works for the same company, and he has received the same items). I always buy them something nice; this year monogrammed fleece robes from LLBean wrapped in LLBean totebags with their names personalizing the bags. I know it should be the thought that counts, but I can't help thinking they are lacking in good thoughts about me.

It is really incredible. Anyone else notice how the Brits just answer a question that I asked because I was confused about the site that I was on and all the Americans think that you are insulting and attacking them...what is going on? As example of this is as follows: You are given a choice between box A and Box B. The 2 boxes, however, contain identical things. I'm thinking society will have to put up with this nonsense for probably another 200 years or so before the last of them come to their senses or are just killed off for being so damn retarded. I know that in western europe and in other developed countries of the world like japan and korea religion is waning and is more or less dead because they're a lot more educated and cultured (basically not morons). I guess when there is no more 'third world' religion will be practically dead. Thank God. no pun intended

I was looking into sponsoring a child in another country via one of those websites, but I realized that it was based around spreading Christianity. I was just wondering if there are any organizations that help people for the sake of helping people and not as a way to spread their religion? I dunno. As I'm writing this, I feel really lame for even caring... but then again, I'm looking to invest in the children of Armenia, which is the oldest Christian country in the world, so they really don't need missionaries.

Regardless.
Anyone know of secular relief funds?
