I lost my credit card downtown around bar time about a month ago and a college student picked it up. (I'm a recent college graduate.) He contacted me about it via FACEBOOK (can you believe it) and, when I e-mailed him requesting that he please drop it off at the university union's information desk (or any desk anywhere so I could get it when I had time), he replied, "Call me," and gave his phone number.

I did call, though I thought it was completely unnecessary to do so. He never called back. He's had my credit card for weeks now and, since winter break just started, has probably left town and won't be back for another month.

What is wrong with people? I'm traveling this month and need a credit card. What is so difficult about dropping a card off somewhere safe and e-mailing the owner? I was so fed up I called the company and had them cancel the account and open a new one.

My best friend and I are both left handed. We were recently discussing some of the things right handed people believe to be true of left handed people in America. We came up with quite a list of things we have heard over the years, so I thought it would be interesting to see what people from different parts of the country (and the world for that matter) believe to be true/different about left handed people.

I have some friends that don't believe in any religion, some that don't accept jesus as the lord and savior. I have some family and friends i know will go to hell. Eden, Heaven, is a perfect place right? It cannot be perfect without them in my eyes.

If they're in hell and I'm in heaven it's not a perfect place for me. Would God allow them to be in Heaven so it could be my Eden? In hell they could realize they're wrong and ask for forgiveness too right?

My boyfriend is so feminine he tries to act so manly but it just is not believable. I know every day he tries on my things (lingerie and such) because they are all out of place and messy. He looks so cute doing it and i just wish he could dress like this in public. Cuz if you do, I got some bad news for ya! His standard has been set and it is perfection through Jesus Christ!

Being alive in 2006/2007 G-d has challenged you to be unique and sepertate from the standards set by television and pop culture. It's an honor how He thinks highly enough of you to survive such an age, no??

He doesnt say "lets make a deal" like the secular humanists do!

He says "this IS the deal" as a good parent does.

I just could not understand the life, because I am working as a lecturer in a technical college, for the past 5 years, but my friends and relatives are into software/ Manufacturing Industry. I choose teaching because i got greats passion for teaching, communicating the ideas and so on and so many, but my salary is far low compared to my friends who are earning great money, also settling in abroad. Everyone around me, the family & friends and the soceity view me as a kind mad, lame person, because i am sticking to this teaching job. Even the Girls like to marry a person who has lot of money and wealth and not the character. Please someone out there help in finding the right answer

I read that there was this huge Christian conference of scientists, scholars, etc that compared different accounts of the gospel and said only 1/5 of Jesus' word could possible have been said by him due to so many contridictions. I was wondering if anyone knew which words they were? I'd like to learn more of what we know historically about Jesus.

Is anyone else wondering 'Why did an omnipotent god who could deliver his word instantenously to EVERY person directly by mouth, get a bunch of power hungry, 1st century men, who needed to unite an empire with a common belief, to write the bible?'


I'm sorry but I can't help but wonder that perhaps this bible isn't REALLY this omnipotent, super creating, all knowing being that have never been physically spotted, or observed with any of the five senses, or if so, at least not in a way where the spotter could prove he was anything more than a psychopathic schizophrenic: But MAYBE it was written by the power hungry first century men who needed to unite an empire with a common belief, to gain power and unite an empire with a common belief??
