To deny our basic instincts as people is to deny ourselves, and its an inexcusable . We are primarily sexual beings .
Speaking from the experience of having three boys, infants find there genitalia at about six months old because they get a sensation from playing with them they continue to play until the primary carer shows them a different way (Whats is appropriate behaviour.)
Unfortunately we parents have issues with embarrassment and with our own sexual hangups probably imposed by our parents .
For people to talk about it and agree what is the best course of action to teach children whats normal sexual behaviour within society and within the confines of our bedrooms.
I believe its essential that parents pool there experiences so we have a formula to create a stable adult with a healthy sex live that harms none. Denying we are sexual beings is sticking our head in the sand.
I believe all religions breed sexual perversions with their nonacceptance of a large part of who we are as human beings. We all came from a sexual encounter..... (not test tube or IV obviously ). Parental classes that tackle these issues and let the wider society know whats what would be tackling the wider issues in society at the roots.
Unfortunate for some religious doctrine equates sex with the devil as his temptation to man . I'm deeply offended by this as god loves he doesn't hate he gave us the ability to make love which is a precious gift indeed.
Man has to deal with the issues he has created himself.
Its no great surprise to anyone that religion has a shameful record of perversion and violence attached, its not just power hungry men that have started wars in this world. Perhaps when we tackle this issue in society at the infant level, then perhaps we can start dealing with the larger issues of blatant commercialism of women by men in modern
