If we did come from monkeys or fish or whatever you say we came from, how did those monkeys or fish come into existence in the first place?

Looks like they can't answer your question! Good one....left them stummped....all they can say now is jibberish. I don't see how they can't see it! It's so simple and plain in your face! It was God!

oh wow sweetie, you really need to study evolution before asking this question.
It could actually be asked of "creationists" as well.. if God formed man from the dust of the earth, where did the dust come from? if the dust comes from God, where does God come from? If you get to the point of "God always was", then you've blown your argument out to the evolutionists.

Evolution doesn't say that man came from fish or monkeys, but that we came from a common ancestor. Through the process of descent with modification, the common ancestor of life on Earth gave rise to the fantastic diversity that we see documented in the fossil record and around us today. Evolution means that we're all distant cousins: humans and oak trees, hummingbirds and whales.

To answer your question further, Microbes were the first inhabitants of Earth. They are single-celled organisms -- bacteria, fungi and protozoa. Microbes are still found just about everywhere today, thriving in boiling hot thermal springs, deep below the surface of the Antarctic, 1.7 miles (2.8 kilometers) inside Earth's crust, and even high in the atmosphere.

Microbes decompose the waste products of other living things, creating nutrients. They are also used to make beer, bread, and yogurt.

Some say life on Earth may have begun when microbes migrated here from outer space.

Others say life sprang up out of a primordial soup of terrestrial chemicals.

While it's origins are still being investigated, the fact is that all species have and are evolving. I understand you believe that the ultimate source of life is God. I'm okay with you believing that. But, if you are denying evolution as a fact, then it's just putting on blinders and ignoring proven evidence.

Evolution says nothing about the origins of life - only the changes to existing life. Anyway I have no way of knowing for sure but the most likely reason is random chemical reactions in the early oceans. Could have been aliens seeding it or creating it though. Could have come over via meteorite from another planet which already had it. All more likely than a creation by god.

1. We did not come from monkeys.

2. We did not come from fish.

3. Why are the religious so illeducated that they can't understand that?

4. To understand that you have to understand physics, chemistry, biology, astrophysics, geology, and many other things. If you don't understand, and are not willing to educate yourself on it, then these short little posts on YA aren't going to be able to answer your question because you need to have a real education and this is too short a space to type it all in.

And frankly, anything I say here, you aren't going to understand anyway if you're so badly educated that you actually think science says we came from monkeys or fish. Go educate yourself.

Yes, I know thats not a real answer but its extremely difficult to give you one over YA. There's not enough space, nor enough time, to teach you everything you need to know.

Please, evolution is much more complex then "coming from monkeys or fish or whatever" If you truly want to know and are not just trying to take an uneducated jab then pick up darwins book and give it a read. Otherwise look it up on the internet. Look at a SCIENCE site not a RELIGIOUS site.

Through evolution, through aggregation of cell clusters, through mutations in DNA sequences. You make it sound like its impossible for evolution to happen, and yet it did! Also, FYI: we didn't "come from monkeys", and biologically speaking we are classified as APES. You need to learn a lot more about what evolution is and is not before you start cutting down things that you don't even understand. God created evolution - stop telling God what to do!!!

They evolved over hundreds of millions of years from less complex life forms.
There is a 600 million plus years fossil record in the earths crust showing an increasing complexity of life forms over the eons to the present.

First: There's no if. Evolution is factual.

Second: humans evolved from ape-like species. Not monkeys.

Third: All species except the most basic ones evolved from lower life forms.

Fourth: The study of the origin of life is abiogenesis, not evolution.

Fifth: This is posted in the wrong subject. You want biology, not religion.

How can you attempt to argue against something about which you understand nothing? Educate yourself. Even if you continue to disagree with it, at least you'll have a firm grasp of its basic scientific principles.

She doesn't like our answers - what a surprise! Prefers "being right" to being informed. Sad.

Don't try to use infinite regress as a logical tool to attack evolution

Creationism can't address infinite regress either.
Where did "gawd" come from?

If you say nothing, then you concede that a creator is not necessary for existance.

Either way, your position is screwed.

Nice try, though.

(sigh)

single celled organisms + time = multicellular/complex organisms.

seriouslym if youre going to challenge evolutionists to a debate i STRONGLY reccomend actually reading the material youre challenging. only idiots think man came from monkeys.

try doing some research before you open your mouth (or type)
