Your house didn't burn because of Jesus! That neighbor of your should not say that when you have suffered and terrible lost of your home. he is a insenitive jerk! Your brother is doing is duty that was called on him to do. And that has nothing to do with your house burning down. I wish people would stop taking God's word and messing it up and make up stuff that he did not say.

Yes, Jesus has the power to burn down a house. But obviously, he doesn't. Your neighbor is crazy and needs to get a better cope on how Jesus works.

Your neighbor obviously doesn't care that someone is protecting their freedom, and they are obviously insensitive towards your brother. Don't listen to your neighbor.

No, Jesus loves all people. He did factor out that its harder for a wealthy guy to get into heaven. What he meant replaced into that in case you have an excellent form of money, its harder for you to work out a choose for for salvation. Its no longer that having money makes you much less of someone. in actuality, Matthew, a guy who wrote an entire e book interior the Bible replaced right into a wealthy tax collector. however, he felt spiritually empty. while he observed Jesus strolling for the duration of the line, he walked faraway from each thing he owned and accompanied Jesus.

Your neighbor is an ignorant fool. The answer is NO NO NO! Each person will stand before God to be judged. That day will come on the day you die. You're not there yet... Houses catch fire... accidents happen.... nothing more! Find a loving church... and a pastor who preaches truth.

Jesus is LOVE, He doesn't burn down ppls houses.
Most likely your neighbor is a likely suspect since he/she brought up the subject. Pray for him/her as Jesus would of.

Your neighbor does not know God. Jesus is busy right now building houses in his fathers kingdom so that where he is we may be also. If you seek God you will find him and will not have to listen to those who do not know him. When you seek Jesus through the word and come to know him perhaps you should attempt to introduce this neighbor to him he clearly needs him desperately.

While Jesus (as God) is ABLE to do anything, he did not burn down your house. The person who told you that has no understanding for who Jesus is or what he is like. They also have no understanding of what is happening in Iraq.

That person needs prayer that their eyes be opened to understand who God is. As bad as things are for you, without a house, it is far worst for them. Your physical things can be replaced. But the hate in their hearts will continue to poison them.

They, and you, will be in my prayers today...

Your neighbor is a jerk. That comment in and of itself is deserving of some fire and brimstone.

I believe the Jesus of the Bible would have that power (if he were real), but would never use it. If anything, Jesus is about love. Your neighbor is a great example of a hateful and proud Christian.

Your neighbor is a vindictive lunatic. I come from a long line of veterans and never has God struck us in any way. My son is a veteran of the battle for Falushia, USMC. I'm very sorry for your loss. I hope you'll ignore the ignorance of people like your neighbor.
