Yes..FINALLY''..
That has to be the best question I've seen in a long time..!!
I cannot tell you how many times I've heard a Christian praying for someone else to fail or be harmed.
I also cannot tell you how many times I've heard Pagans casting on someone else for an obvious 'random act' that happened.
But I can tell you one thing about both...... they truly despise each other as a general grouping of people and their beliefs.

) If someone claimed to have a visitation of a much beloved relative and the relative told you to do something that was against God’s principles what would you do? But, what about those mediums who help people, are they bad too? How can we know if someone is from God or not? God says through Isaiah in Isaiah 8:19 & 20 (read) “If they speak not according to This Word, it is because there is no light in them” God does not use the dead to “help” the living. This is a deception of the devil. I want you to write down the following texts to study them when you get home because I will not take the time right now to read them all. Exodus 7:11, 1 Samuel 28:3-25, Daniel 2:2, Acts 16:16-18, Revelation 18:23, and 2 Corinthians 11:13 Satan has used sorcery all throughout the Bible to deceive people and it is predicted that he will continue to do so. Rev. 16:14 and Rev13:13 & 14 What did God command the children of Israel to do to those people who claimed to do sorcery? Let’s read Leviticus 20 verse 27 Now lets turn to the book of Deuteronomy chapter 13 start in verse one (continue to verse five then skip to verse ten) When giving the punishments for various “sins” to the Israelites the Lord reserved stoning for the most serious of offences. Sometime read the book of laws or Leviticus but especially chapter twenty.

I have never dared use a prayer to wish someone ill or harm. I have had thoughts of harm coming to people such as Bin Laden.
God Bless you and have a wonderful New Year!

I've wished people good through prayers, good well wishing, good thoughts in meditation, good intentions through spells to help others (with their permission only)---all different interpretations of the same thing in the power of good spirit.
Nope never seriously wished "harm" on others. Angry and hurt over some other's at times, but learned the art of forgiveness and in spite of a particuliar person's harmful actions (whether intention or unintentional) not only forgave the person(s) but wished them good as well. I'm so thankful I'm so open-minded, realistic and spiritually educated enough not to judge others by their individual belief systems, as it truely takes an intelligent, well-rounded and educated person to do this. All my friends are like-minded. To each's own. I wish everyone good fortune in the whole world as well. And to those who really do, do harm to others, ....well I pray you see the light and start doing some good on earth. You'll be a much more fulfilled and loving person because of it. ;o)

Excellent question!
I'm remembering the movie "Bubble Boy", when the title character's holy roller mother says, "Well, you'll certainly be in my prayers tonight. I'll be praying you get nut cancer!"
I'm not much into spellwork, I admit. Whenever I do, my spellwork is purely for meditative purpose -- to clear my mind and allow me to see answers that may not have been obvious to me before. Clearing away the undergrowth so I can see all available paths, you could say.
I never wish ill to another. Most people will make their own unhappiness if left to their own devices long enough, and harm themselves in ways I never could.

ooh good one Pangel..
I've witnessed christians in prayer circles using their prayers as a form of gossip and belittling on so many occasions it isn't funny.
I can honestly say that I've never been involved with a group of witches who do this.. does this mean it doesn't happen? of course not.
Human beings do this as part of our nature. When something happens to harm us, we want to strike back.. some do and some don't.. that's personal ethics.. some christians use their prayers as weapons and some witches do the same with spells.
It just shows that we have more in common than we like to admit.
EXCELLENT question!

I am a Christian, and althouhg I have never ever prayed for someone to be hurt, I will be honest, and sometimes may wish for bad things, or say it, but I dont ever really mean it. Okay, a few times, when I wished bad things for my ex-husband, but he was abusive so I think he deserved it.
And I know wiccans, I have met them, and casting spells for bad things is generally against what they believe.

Honestly, the second thing I ever did, has hurt me and 5 other people. in a strange way.
Before I go into detail, I'll say, if I do a spell, and expect an outcome, if it happens, I see every coincidence leading up to it as part of the manifestation.
The intent was, "Courage," in any form, viaualized as a flaming heart, followed by hardening, with a soft spot on the back [that was the pictured intent.]. It happened, but at the expense of 5 people who had to get hurt in the same way I did [There was something involving the heart flaming, but we won't get into that], but I had to deny them condolences [mostly], because I had t stew in my anger.
The pain for all involved connected to my re-emergence of my ideal of courage. Do I care? not really, I have no qualms about hurting others, in a moral sense.
It sounds bad, but I'm willing to pay for what I do.
Sorry, I'm not quite a witch, but I do spellwork.

Oh, well, I'm a little bit of both, yes it works that way. People pray to their own god, all gods are one god known by a thousand different names. I have never done harm to anyone by a spell or a prayer. Now, I've but a lust spell on a guy which I ended up sleeping with and I have prayed many times for the death of guys that touch me in appropriately. In which he died, but I don't know if I'm that powerful.
