Whenever you see a Nativity scene, the wisemen are always shown to be present as well. This does not agree with the Bible. The star that appeared at the birth of Christ guided the Maji to where the CHILD was, not 'baby'. The shepherds saw the baby in the stable, but the Maji showed up later. The second chapter of Luke talks about the birth of Jesus, but the Magi are not mentioned. You find them in the second chapter of Matthew where it states the star was over the HOUSE, not stable, "they saw the CHILD and his mother. . . " Jesus was approximately two years old when the Magi arrived, which is the reason Herod killed all the boys from birth to two years in age.

Ok I know this is a odd question but Im going to ask it any way :)

I would like some information on Demons (evil spirits like on the movie The Exorcism of Emily Rose )
What do they do?
What do they do to people?
How would you know if a Demon was around?
Have you ever encountered any? ( Ex boyfriends don't count)
The Movie The Exorcism of Emily Rose has got me curious that is why I am asking .

as far as I understand Hebrew has no vowels. Is this indeed the case? If so, how do people that read Hebrew know what vowel to insert? Because spoken Hebrew does have vowels. Are there any other languages that have no written vowels?

Ezekiel 13:18
Then it says: "And make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls" Then further down in verse 20 "Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly."
Could any church people explain this? Also, I appreciate replies from scholars.

(Please stick to the King James version, if possible, cause the other versions sometimes leave things out.)

Would you find this odd or refreshing?

There would be action stations set up instead of a regular buffet line so everything is cooked to order. The menu would likely consist of such things as fruit crepes, french toast, pancakes, eggs or mini quiches, bacon or sausage (or even a choice of carved turkey or ham), country potatoes, etc.

My sister's grandpa Phillip (SR) died 12-18-04.
On 1-26-05, me & my family ere watchin the Village. I went to use the bathroom, and when I came back, Mom and my uncle Tony looked like they'd just seen a ghost. They told me they heard 3steps on the porch and a shadow linger on the porch bench fer a moment. I thot of burgulars and I was FREAKED out! (I was barely 11 @ the time) Tony went outside 2his trailer (in our backyard) to make me feel better. Well, then me, mom, and Phil (JR) and Sis (6)
(phil and sis didnt know anything) were watchin the scary movie. 10 minutes later, me & MOM HEARD 3 STEPS N KITCHEN! (chills) my only thot was "Phillip''. Me and mom knew but dint say nething. The next day, (1/27/06) Dad droped me back off at mom's. I was so stupid that I actually WENT IN (alone) & watched tv for 45 minutes! I got scared (felin watched) & ran outside2 Tony's.
