No. If you are looking for archaeological proof, I am going to start studying that more in-depth for 2007. So far I have found references to the ruins of Lamanai in Belize, which really exist and were documented by a non-Mormon Canadian. Also there is the Beith Lehi cave in Israel, which was also documented by a Jewish professor of archaeology named Joseph Ginad, which shows that the name Lehi really did exist in Israel, and the cave that Nephi and his brothers stayed in could have been that cave or a similar one nearby. Then of course there are the "white" Indians of the Lacandon tribe of Chiapas, Mexico, who traditionally resisted intermarrying with the Spanish conquistadors or anyone else. I know they did a DNA study of some Mayan Indians but I don't think they have done one on the Lacandon Indians yet, or at least I am having difficulty finding more information on them. At any rate, it shows that the Book of Mormon account of lighter and darker-skinned peoples is verifiable even today. Then of course there are some remarkable internal evidences, such as Jewish chiasmus writing patterns. Have a happy day.

No. It's true.

Read it for yourself and ask your Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ if it's true. If you are sincere, you will receive an answer & I promise it will change your life for the better!
