Yes I do, I have answered this question so many times, but thats ok, the more I answer this the more truth to it is revealed.

First off I think that marriage between anyone, whether you are straight or gay, should not be controlled or manipulated by external instiutions such as the Government or the Church. When people get married in the Church or who ever the one is who is preforming the marriage says "by the power invested in me by the State of (your state here), not by the power invested in me by the Government, or Church. I personally believe not even the state should have a say in it, the Government, Church or State shouldn't be able to have a say in or beable to define a relationship between two adult citizens.

We as gays & lesbians have the same capabilites of falling in love, being competent parents, and we pay the same amount in taxes as anyone else. So my question to you is, why are gays & lesbians who do just as much as a hetrosexual couple being cut short when it comes to marriage and equality? Denying us liberty and persuit of happiness is blatant bigotry.

Gays & lesbians getting married has said to possibly help stop divorce rates going down, not nessacarely because our marriage would last longer, but because a majority, if not all of gays & lesbians are predominantly liberal and only very rarely fundamentalist, gay marriage increases the number of liberals who are statistically classified as "married"; states which are predominantly liberal have a lower divorce rate than states with higher proportions of fundamentalist conservatives, will seems to imply that gay marriage will reduce the overall divorce rate. In a question to bigots against same sex marriage, why should your neighbors marriage, have anything to do with mine?

There are no longer any valid secular arguments in the direction of gay marriage. If usa (supposedly) has a separation of church and state, then homosexuals could be allowed the equivalent rights as heterosexuals. Homosexuality and polygamy could now no longer be placed interior the equivalent classification. That being reported, polygamy could be criminal if all events are consenting, nonetheless i'm afraid that there probable criminal themes of a substantial paintings rigidity getting married without problems to exploit scientific well being insurance companies and stuff like that. (nicely being insurance companies make the main persons sufficient although, so it may even out lol) however who's to choose whether or now no longer its love or in basic terms con-artists?

Poor guy. I am with a man whose ex took everything, also. But you just have to forget the past and be open about the future. Love and happiness are out there. Perhaps there is something in you that brings negativity into your life. Search yourself honestly and correct what needs correcting, then you will draw more love into your life.

As far as gay people being able to marry. Why not!!! If two people love each other, the government should not be able to make laws to prevent their union.

if that is the only reason that will allow equal rights to be extended to same sex couples, then that's great. But it seems to be that sharing the misery isn't going to play, it is yet another way to portray support while maintaining a homophobic stand. The reason that same sex couples need to be allowed to legally marry is because not to allow it is discrimination. In America we do not allow discrimination in housing, jobs, and other life activities yet we allow it in marriage. Why?

They should be allowed to have same rights and responsibilities as all other committed couples.
Flamers? What is this, throw the gays in the fire pits day? I thought we were done with that after WWII.

MARRIAGE IS NOT ABOUT GOD.

Marriage is about the GOVERNMENT giving people RIGHTS. That is why we WILL WIN the right to marry in all states, sooner or later. Because, we will not be treated like 2nd class, separate but equal citizens.

Despite your bitterness and focus on negativity, Yes, Gays should be able to marry regardless as to what the people who would argue semantics or the fundamentalist nutjobs who keep insisting that their religion has significance for others who do not believe in it, think.

just because you're bitter that your ex took you to the cleaners, does that mean you have to spread your bitterness to everyone else?
yes, I think any 2 consenting, unrelated adults who love each other should be able to get married...and it shouldn't matter what their gender, race, religion or culture happens to be.
you need to deal with your own problems and mind your own business. maybe you should try some counseling to deal with your issues.

i think everyone has a right to make a choice and if marriage is a choice then it should be given. why does it have to be a right? the world is pathetic with all its rules and telling people their rights just because a person chooses not to be like you....whos to say the way your living is right?
