Blogs and youtube have given the power of media to the masses. People can now portray their feelings and happenings to everyone else on Earth. This has created a globalization of culture and an increased understanding beyond the news put forth by the general media (CNN, FOX, etc...remmember them?)

I have suggested before that this may cause a fifth 'great awakening'...renesaunce..not only religiously (maybe taking the form of a more balanced and understanding cultural religion), but scientific advances (due to increased information exchagne), cultural changes, emotional prescept re-thinking and new social perspectives.

This is what I meant by 'great awakening' --

The USA nowadays I think has very unbalanced and weird ways of coping with social standards. I think things like liberalism, uptightness (political correctness) is an unbalanced and naive way of dealing with social changes, for example. Same with feminism.

Maybe we will reach a more balanced reaction toward these

I am very confused about this thing called the Christmas Holidays. They talk about it being about Jesus's birth, but they have church on alternate days so it doesn't interfere with their family day. The tree always has to be put up along with the lights and outside decorations, so you can show everyone you are in the Christmas spirit. Please answer me if you can why would we want to give someone else something for our birthday instead of getting one ourselves. Are you confused yet? I am.

if humans were made in the like of god, with arms legs, feet, eyes, blood, lungs, that is how it is right?

well..........

now, if god is always with us, okay, what about divers? those humans that breath tanks full of air.

if god is not with them (seeing how god has lungs) when they die, does that mean that divers are going to go to hell, because god is not with them?

I believe many cultures have the equivalent.

But what is the equivalent proverb in the Japanese culture, if any?

The core of the meaning is as simple as "it helps to see from another angle", "with the fresh eye", "unbiased", "stereoscopic vision (v. tunnel vision)", "both eyes open", "open mind/both brains/two heads".

Could you please give it both in Japanese and English.

Marie Chantal Miller married the Crown Prince of Greece and calls herself the Crown Princess. She has a store in NY. However, didn't Greece become a democracy in the 70s?
