I'm 42 and I still think of myself as a Kid. I like to ride my bike, I like to watch Saturday cartoons,I like to play sports and I still like candy. The only reason I can tell being classified as being an ADULT is... I can do all these things while drinking Beer !

The man in ourselves is only a kid no matter how old we become. It is the feeling we have inside that governs our motions and attitudes. So to answer your question is it is true we are kids but with more experience in life as we grow older.

We are all big kids. Human Psychological Development is a life long process. We never stop learning, although we do slow down with age.

Adulthood went out with aspirations. There are no advantages to growing up now that all kids are indulged.

I think we're all 13-year-olds with money. But, I think the World War II generation had actual adults.

Yes Virginia, there are adults. But, you & me ('we') are just big kids---and always will be.
Those 'adults' are BORING, CRITICAL, PREJUDICED, LABEL-CALLING, NEGATIVE, BITTER, ANGRY, OPINIONATED, NARROW-MINDED---and they get WORSE as they get older,,,until one day, they'll be SO BAD, the world will be WORSE because of them. But, there are a lot of young people like that too. At least the old ones will die off soon, but the young ones will be around for a LONG time--- darn it!

Desmond Morris (the acclaimed writer of 'the naked ape' etc.) and many others say that we are indeed 'just big kids'. its kind of how evolution works; something called neoteny, or the 'peter pan syndrome'.
this has actually been biologically proved.

we are all kids but the only difference is that when we were younger we played with our parents money and now we play with ours
