Depends on the kid. Some are so tired they fall to sleep immediately (within thirty minutes of going to bed). Others are tired but are too excited and so they fall to sleep a couple hours after going to bed. The rest stay up until really late (like four a.m.) until they finally collapse.

Well, when I was younger, I didn't go to sleep on Christmas Eve. I'd get put to bed, and would lay awake, or in a semi-sleep, waiting intil morning. Good luck, and have a Merry Christmas.

It always took me ages because I was so excited! My little sister was asleep in about 20 minutes. If you are waiting for them to fall asleep you could always go to bed and just set your clock for 3 am or some time near that. Good luck!

A loooonnnnngggg time. I downplayed Christmas Eve with my kids for this reason. The less excited, the quicker to sleep.

at the start: happy BIRTHDAY!!! Xxx being 12 is in basic terms the main suitable, do no longer you settle?! decrease back to Christmas! (Boy, I wager you in basic terms love December!) bypass to mattress 30mins-1hr later than you may routinely, or once you sense somewhat drained. study a e book or loosen up for style of 30mins, yet do no longer play on your telephone or something digital by using fact your suggestions won't have the skill to loosen up appropriate for no less than an hour. Drink a heat drink, and spray some lavender on your pillow, or use a undeniable scented cushion. Lavender somewhat enables you to loosen up. i understand its somewhat no longer uncomplicated, yet attempt to no longer think of roughly Christmas. think of roughly going decrease back to college in a week or so, and how drained you would be. think of roughly being given a lot of homework, and staying up late to end it. think of roughly your worst training. merry christmas !! :D
