The Islamic months follow the Lunar Calendar, so the holidays come at a different time each year.
We have the month of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Muslim Lunar Calendar, which is a month of fasting from sunup to sundown and giving zakat or alms to the poor. At the end of the month we have Eid al Fitr, to celebrate the end of the fasting. Right before the end of the month we have the day the Qur'an was sent down to the Prophet Muhammad by the angel Gabriel. It's called Leilat Al-Qadr, or the Night of Power.
The next big holiday is Eid Al-Adha, the day Abraham was told to kill his son to prove his worthiness to God. Right before he kills his son a sheep is sent down to be killed in his place. To this day Muslims sacrifice sheep on Eid Al-Adha.

We celebrate 2 holidays.
I celebrate Eid ul-Fitr which is marking the end of Ramadan(9th month of Islamic calender and the month in which all Muslims fast for an entire month by not eating, drinking, or having sexual relations from sunrise to sunset). Eid ul-Fitr means Feast of the Breaking of the Fast and is observed for 3 days. It's celebrated by eating with family and friends, gift-giving, and praying.
The other holiday Muslims celebrate is Eid ul-Adha which is celebrated to commerorate Prophet Ibrahim's(PBUH*) willingness to sacrafice his son Ishmael for ALLAH and also marks the end of Hajj for the millions of Muslims who make the trip to Makkah each year. It is celebrated the 10th day of the 12th Islamic month(Dhul Hajj) which is also for three days. Celebrations include sacraficing a sheep/goat, and eating with family and friends.
