I completley agree with you. People these days are looking for the differences in how they worship. What people need to do is search for a common ground.
Finding this common ground would omit the prosecuting of other religions ideas and beliefs.
As a methodist, the one thing that angers me the most is when we begin to critisize other religions. We can't do that. God said to accept everyone the way they are. That's what I wish we could all do.
It shouldn't matter who or how you worship. As long as you do. And even if you don't, it's a personal choice, and it would never make a difference to me.

To worship anyone or anything other than the Almighty Creator of this universe is the same as worshipping Satan and his demons. Doing good deeds/good works is not enough. A Christian should be concerned about the spiritual well being of others because of God's love in us. That same love should drive Christians to preach the Gospel of Christ and try to win as many souls from Satan as possible. This inevitably means Christians -true Christians- will be hated and persecuted. For if they hated, persecuted and crucified the Lord of Glory, they will do the same to His followers.

How can you believe in God and in so doing, believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven. Do you not care about everyone else. Does his command to go to the ends of the earth making disciples mean nothing? That's a complete contradiction. I mean I understand you're wanting everyone to get along, but really that's not gonna happen.

Yes - If you're a good person - that's what's needed to make the world a better place. I don't care what others believe - as long as they are nice and respectful. There is only one God - and It loves all of us. And for those who don't believe in a God - that's okay too. I just wake up every morning and try to be nice and follow the love that I feel in my heart. It's pretty simple.

Being good is not good enough! It is not our goodness or even our righteousness that will save us!
It is the righteousness of God that really matters. It does matter what a person believes. Jesus says that He is the only way! Any other way is that the truth.
BTW Merry Christmas!

there is a difference in believing in God and getting along..Getting along with people does not get you to heaven, the Bible says the only way to heaven his by faith through God, getting saved. u can live your life like a saint, but unless you have done the ABC's which is Admitt, believe, and confess, you will not go to heaven

Apart from Tibet and Buddhism I think every religion has an innate problem. THE PEOPLE!
Religion - in the name of God - has so much to answer for; certainlyl aint no love in it...........I think it's where 'fear' and 'loathing' originated.
