Please accept, with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the generally accepted calendar year 2007, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country, nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. And without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith

Recently the vatican denied a request from Christians who suffer from celiac-sprue, meaning they can't digest wheat. "Hosts," or the body of the Christ, are made of 75% wheat products, and the vatican ruled that changing the recipie would no longer make it the body of the Christ. Therefore, I have to conclude that Jesus was made of wheat. Am I missing something?

If a man was brought up with the idea to never hit a female no matter what the reason was, would that affect the situtation or would it be different based on what he believes. When a person is brought up, whatever he is taught is not always what he believes, now if this person was caught in a situtation where a female was acting up and decided to hit a male, let's say the male hit the female back for the attack he recieved, how would you react to the action if you were a bystander? Take in mind that males are usually taught to never hit but defend themselves unless it's a female, they are taught to never hit a female no matter what, yet females are taught to never hit but always defend themselves no matter what. It is a double standard that can create confussion and it seems a bit unfair.

The Holy Bible starts with Horror and it ends with Horror. They accept the Horror of the Crucifixion but they try to mellow that down. They want to take out only the nice little things and quote them and they accuse us of taking things out of context. That's a laugh. I'm sorry if this upsets some of my friends. I love you all. Merry Christmas. xx

I'll be ruined." "It's in the judge's hands now," said the lawyer.
"Would it help if I sent the judge a box of cigars?"
"Oh no! This judge is a stickler or ethical behavior. A stunt like that would prejudice him against you. He might even hold you in contempt of court. In fact, you shouldn't even smile at the judge." Within the course of time, the judge rendered a decision in favor of the defendant.
As the defendant left the courthouse, he said to his lawyer, "Thanks for the tip about the cigars. It worked!"
"I'm sure we would have lost the case if you'd sent them." "But, I did send them."
"What? You did?" said the lawyer, incredulously. "Yes. That's how we won the case." "I don't understand," said the lawyer.
"It's easy. I sent the cigars to the judge, but enclosed the plaintiff's business card."

I'm looking to speaking with people who live in either providence. I currently live in North Carolina with my girlfriend, recently moved from California. I love big cities, and looking to move to a bigger city. I actually want to move to a french speaking or more french speaking country. Since I studied so much of it and love the language. I don't speak fluently but I'd say I'm "intermediate" level and can understand enough to get by. But I really want to learn it fluently. I want to move to a colder place. I absolutely hate the heat and love the snow, a bigger city, a place I can speak french all the time and be married to my girfriend.

Also, I'm told God purposely gave humans their free agency, and when they sinned in the Old Testament he kept getting angry, but they were exerting their free agency. Can somebody help me out here?
Moreover, in human affairs, a person usually gets angry when they don't have control over the situation. So what was going on with God in these cases?
