i just went through a painful betrayal. now i am feeling good and happy again. can anyone offer any tips on staying happy, being successsful, fun things, finding love. just anything thats positive. the pain of what happened to me has the potential to make me bitter but i just want to be happy with my life and get better and better everyday. i do love myself thats why your tips will only make it better

I received an email stating that I'd won a British Lottery, wow that is so cruel, I fortunately was able to pick up that it was probably a scam, but what about other people who believe them, they could get themselves into real trouble and it's not fair.

Look at all the junk today. You want to be open to all of it...go ahead.

I was open minded...landed me in jail. I was open to the idea that maybe drugs weren't so bad....maybe selling them is ok too......

I am happy to say if something doesn't line up with the word of G-d, I am closed to it. I will politely say "yeah, uh-huh" and disregard it.

Don't most stick to their beliefs anyhow even the "open minded" ?

I'm just being honest.

Plus G-d works on the heart and Satan can only enter through the mind. That is my belief, I know its not everyone's.

So isn't it better to be closed minded and open hearted??

Why when people ask you "what three things would you bring with you on a desert island?" no one ever replies, "A BOAT"?

Or... Why do we sing "Rock a bye baby" to lull our little ones to sleep when the song is about putting your baby in a tree and letting the wind crash the cradle to the ground?

OR... How's come people tell you to stay a kid for as long as you can. Yet the moment you do anything childish or immature they tell you to grow up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm agnostic but I cant tell my parents since they are christians and take religion very seriously. But they don't go to church...well until recently anyway. They're going to start going back and they are trying to make me go with them. I don't want to have to tell them because I'm afraid of their reactions...all of you with major christian parents know what I'm talking about right? Anyway, but I don't think it's right for me to go...being in a christian place with me being agnostic...it just doesn't feel right ya know? So is it alright? Or is it wrong? What should I do??

From what I hear, oceanic dead zones are expanding, overfishing is causing all sorts of messed up things with the food chains, overfarming has stripped the soil of the precious minerals needed for us to grow healthy food, so many billions of mouths to feed.

All those billions of years just for us to go out like this. What a waste, right?

open your eyes!!
how can something come from nothing?? doesnt make sence, example, EVOLUTION
first we like started out like a fish, in a pond, something like that, cause we "evolved"
mkay, where did that come from?? yes, that tiny little whatever, had to come from somewhere!!
and when it all melts down, there HAS to be a higher power.
look around
everything is soo amazing.
our own human bodies cannot be some kind of mistake!!

that I have a "freaky" habit. You see, I absolutely love whipped cream. I buy tubs of whipped cream and eat at least one small tub a day of it. I am not kidding! My problem is that my boyfriend thinks that my so called "fetish" is a sign of sexual freakiness that I am just
not realizing. I tell him that freakiness has nothing to do with my sensation with whipped topping. I do not eat it with cakes or put on desserts. I eat it straight out of a bowl. I told him I would write a question to yahoo readers to find who is right? Please tell me what ;you think, thanks
