I have been thinking, If God is in control. If not one bad or good thing can happen to me with out His say. Will God strike me down to see if I will get up again and trust Him?

I am so dam tired of people saying they became straight. First of all...you cant change a feeling. If thats the case....a straight guy can turn gay....Second...I bet the gay guys that said they became straight...probably was a bisexual in the first place...and probably didnt know it. I know the lord can change or fix anything...but hes not going to puff!!!....up and change someone sexuality. He would help them overcome it...but he wouldnt just up a remove their sexuality like that. And besides...people acts like homosexual is a desease or something. Society think a person is normal because their straight...but its because the world is like 90 percent straight...SO!!! hell...Thats all I have to say...I'm pissed at all of them answers and questions based on what my question was concerning. I'm sorry If I offended someone...but I just would like to know if you can really change a feeling

Ok, there are some Christians to who i address this question to. I have heard that you must beleive in Jesus to get into heaven. So, let's say that there is a man. Just a village man. and let's say he's not a christian. In fact, he's never even heard of christianity because he's so far out into the country side. Does that mean he'll go to hell for something that isn't his fault? Or, let's say that there is another man. Say he's the nicest person you've ever met, but he didn't beleive in Christ. Does that mean he'd go to hell even though he was really REALLY kind to others? and last, say that there was ANOTHER man. Say he was cruel. Pretend he was a terrorist...but he beleived in Christ. Does that mean he'd go into heaven? I don't mean to be mean or anything...i am just curious. I need someone to explain please. thanks.

Yes, it says "Let us make man in our own image." So presumably God and humankind are of the same image. Now consider all the emotions that God displays in the Old Testament: Anger, impatience, disgust, remorse (for having created the human race in the first place), jealousy, and perhaps some ego, etc. If you don't know about these, I can quote chapter and verse in many cases. The question is, with all these emotions that God was displaying int he Old Testament, does anybody get the feeling that God is human and maybe a little too human? Perhaps even immature at times? And why these various outbursts of emotion, if God is all-powerful and all-knowing?

my house was made on battle field it was one night i heard cannons dragged by soldiers and fired i see cannon balls go by my bedroom window and while i was siting with friend we saw soldiers runing fast some was on ground shooting soldiers and one night i was looking in hallway i saw union commader walking
up stairs one night i heard 6 gunshots and civil war ambulances
one day it was dec 28 2002 i saw civil war ambulance park in my drive way i tho !? i runned outside i saw nothing but a civil war general getting in back of ambulances far off and i saw 2 graves
but then i saw army of unions chatting like real humans i run over there and i chatted with them they said goodbye they walked off in to woods and i dont see no cars or nothing and then i saw 2 cannons balls hit my house i tho ghost war??? when i was in attic
with hole family we heard 5 2 cannon ball [that where they hited]
wall we choosen brave dude to check it out and he saw ghost soldiers battleing unions

i live in an area that is very mixed and if you go far enough you'll come to the jewish neighborhood. it seems like they have al least five kids in each family. just to make this clear, i have NOTHING against jewish people it's just that i'm curious.

also my mom told me it has something to do with them not believing that Christ Jesus was the Messish and that they still think that the Messiah is yet to come.

can anyone help me?

Because God likes Abel's offering of meat (and possible milk), but turns his nose down at Cain's offering of fruit and grain. The first time I heard that-and I would have been quite young, it struck me as discrimination, pure and simlpe. I mean Cain was just trying to make a living, and God, Lord and Master of the universe, behaves in a completely arbitrary and/or petty manner. Now, what is this supposed to prove? Wouldn't God have known that Cain would slay Abel? This, I think implacates God.
