It was the Taliban who destroyed the bamiyan buddha statues, a world heritage. See what happened to them. Your karma always come after you.
Like the cart wheels that goes behind the horse which drags the cart. The wheels won't stop until the horse does.

Have someone found the so-claim 1000ft statue?Read about it and also watched National Goegraphic documenatry on it.
From Buddhist perspective,it is only a statue and it is the heritage of that country.Whoever that want to destroy their own heritage,it is their own stupidity.
