I wanna volunteer somewhere around Plano, Allen, McKinney, Fairview, Lucas, places around there. Something with human interaction, not like organizing a food drive shack.

Try www.volunteermatch.org. I like programs that help elderly people... sometimes they just need someone to come over and change a lightbulb, or take them to a medical appointment, of just have a conversation. Nursing homes are good, too.

Why don't you try an assisted living facilty or a nursing home. These places are always needing help. I work at an assisted living, and it is great when people come into volunteer, and the residents really enjoy seeing people. Or you could try at an animal shelter. Good Luck!

The American Red Cross always needs volunteers! Lots of human interaction there.
