Fundies say the darnedest things. The sad thing is the contradictions in you blurb are lost on you. Oh irony.

Yes, and Romans 1:Romans 1:20 bears this out.
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
In other words, this didn't just happen or evolve on it's own, there was an intelligent force behind the scenes. If you can not see the obvious, you will be held to account.

would you base your life on a mere guess?? not me!!?
i base my life on Christ.
**********************************************************
out of several hundred religions how do you know that this is the one true choice. the early christians might just have been wrong.
you were not there. so you are Guessing that the bible is a correct translation of what happened.
*******************************************************
Jesus is the way, TRUTH, and the life
he will never wrong you
he is always there with you
********************************************************
i can say the same for Cerunuuos.
********************************************************
and people
open your eyes!!
how can something come from nothing?? doesnt make sence, example, EVOLUTION
first we like started out like a fish, in a pond, something like that, cause we "evolved"
mkay, where did that come from?? yes, that tiny little whatever, had to come from somewhere!!
*******************************************************8
where did God come from then? and does the bible say that god created Adam from the dust of the earth? this is something from nothing. and who knows what methods that god used to create man. prehaps he just gave the spark of life to a single bacteria and let it grow from there.
*****************************************************88
and when it all melts down, there HAS to be a higher power.
look around
everything is soo amazing.
our own human bodies cannot be some kind of mistake!!
think about it.
*************************************************************
i agree there is a higher power. Many of them in fact. so i would ask you to open your eyes. because there are many gods out there. you just happen to follow the only one that admits that he is a jealous god, that wants all of humanity under his rule. and will sanction murder and war to make that happen.

...I am with you, I have believed on Jesus. I am one of those that many in this column are berating, but so what? We are fools for Christ's sake - everybody else, who's fool are you? Do you lean on another weak human being, or alcohol, or drugs, or your money, or your youth and good looks, or your position in life? What if that were all wisked away? What would you have left?
...Jesus of Nazareth, a real, historical figure, witnessed by the Bible, secular historians of His day, and millions who have believed on Him down through the years, made some incredible claims about Himself. He claimed to be God and the only way to God. Is He a liar, a lunatic, a legend, or is He the Lord? And if what He said is true, we are all in deep spiritual trouble and need Him to rescue us.
...I urge all to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.

Evolution is NOT abiogenesis! And it's a fact... not a guess. Theism is a guess.
You're using the argument from design. It does not work.
Evolution has NOTHING to do with mistakes! Natural Selection is a non-random process. It created us. Not some "higher power".
"think about it." Already have. Apparently, it's too late for you to think. You're indoctrinated to believe in fairy tales.

I can picture the creepy glazed eyes on your deluded face. I call it the Christian look.
Well if the human body is supposed to be designed then why does it break down so easily and why do people get diseases and die? If there is a god creator then he is crap at his job. Thankfully there are human beings that create drugs that can correct these imperfections.

I go with what I know
not what others tell me to believe so they can rule me
I go with my experience not other's claims you can't prove or know
you sound in dire need of deprogramming and your own thoughts
I too sounded like that way back when, full of other's ilk and punditry, all to get me to support them and do the worst
which is to disrespect my existence and honor theirs and thier god
honor yourself, love yourself and your neighbor (golden rule)
I feel I am "god" and alive, I am, I exist, and I one day will pass on
that day is not today, I bank my hopes on today not tomorow, I go with what is not what is not

Why do some of you thumpers need to assert that we didn't evolve from nothing all the time? Who ARE you trying to convince with all this repetition?

THE BIBLE is more than a mere guess? If it bothers you that much to think for yourself there are plenty of other fictional books with moral lessons, that don't advocate the killing of women, children, and those of different beliefs. Try Aesop's Fables.

And I am constantly asked for examples of how religion leads to ignorance. Well, here ya go folks.
Please spend more time researching evolution before you attempt to discuss it.

You need to understand that not every single person in the universe bases their life on Christ. If you do, then great, but there are people out there who are Muslim, people who are Buddhist, people who are Hindu, and other people who don't recognize Christ at all. If Christianity works for you, that's fine, but it doesn't work for everyone, and you need to respect that.
