I hate how so many places close on Christmas. It's so dumb. I'm more than willing to work on this holiday. It's so boring too. Why is this even a federal holiday? Easter isn't so what's the big deal anyway?

So others should work on Christmas to entertain you? All the malls, pools libraries, offices etc should be open in case you want to go there? You are a grinch, plain and simple, and if you don't care enough, at least have consideration for the rest of us that have people we care enough about to spend quality time with.

<> there is not any violation considering all electorate, Christian and non-Christianm take advantage of December twenty fifth being a Federal holiday. <> No, it would not. If it were any incorrect way round, besides the indisputable fact that, then it should be a contravention of the Separation of Church and State. imagine if the secular authorities tried to impose Christmas as a non secular holiday on the Church, which could be a contravention of Separation of Church and State. <> nicely, would not the actual incontrovertible truth that that's under no circumstances been said seem to point that it is not a contravention?

Christmas has basically evaded the country. All you hear on the radio is Christmas carols, on tv, it's all these commercials with bells and santa, and in everyday life, people say 'Merry Christmas.'It's hard to avoid, so I guess they made it a federal holiday. Even if people don't celebrate it for religous reasons, they might still celebrate it. It's CHRISTMAS. C'mon.

There should be more places open on Christmas. Most people I know including myself end up getting bored anyway. I would be willing to work on Christmas.

Christmas is a holiday that the majority of the world celebrates. to christian people this is the time of year that Jesus was born... but to unchristian it is simply a time to be with family and give gifts to one another.
