The banana was looking really tasty, and so I reached into the hole in the tree trunk to retrieve it. Now I can't get my hand back out. How should I free myself? It has gotten dark, and cold outside, and I need some help. Good thing I had my internet ready computer close at hand so I could ask the world wide community this question.

With all their fieldwork they must have some very convincing evidence of just how god created everything.
Do they have any models that demonstrate this? Perhaps a giant hand or finger coming out of the sky? Did he literally breathe life into Adam or did he use a bellows? How about The Great And Wonderful Flood? Is there archaeological evidence of the Ark? Have the I.D. 'scientists' shown just how two of every animal could repopulate the earth without birth defects? Is there some sort of mathematic field that demonstrates the 'God Did It' Engine?

I have asked this before, but I want more opinios. Why in America there are so many people saying don't do that, don't say this, don't sing that. don't put tree there, don't, don't, don't.. Don't say christmas but holiday. It makes me maaaaaaaad .What is the problem with this people. I know they are from other religion, but can't they respect this tradition? I don't know, it does not make sense that christmas is not christmas for the reason that it was first celebrated

Why do you think they call him Little Saint Nick? First of all, the man isn't LITTLE. Eats a few too many Christmas cookies if you ask me. SECOND, SAINT? Last time I checked you had to have helped out a slew of people in the community and tho I guess handing out presents to "all the good little girls and boys" is great and all, I think he neglected to remember some children who litterally have nothing, so how is he a saint again? And his Nick his name? I thought his name was Chris Cringle! Can anyone help me out with this one? I want answers!

Chanukah is nothing like Christmas and has no relation to Christmas. It is essentially about triumphing over religious persecution.
It is an 8-day festival to commemorate the victory of the Maccabees in taking back the temple in Jerusalem from the oppressors.
The temple had to be cleansed, and then they only found one day's worth of sanctified oil for the menorah. That small amount of oil burned miraculously for 8 days during the time of dedication of the temple, time enough for more oil to be sanctified. Chanukah means Dedication.

Okay, so I'm working on math in the tutoring lab when my friend comes to join me. He is and international student (he is from the middle east). Suddenly, some dude starts to stare at us -- he had this really strange look too ... it was so wierd. The guy looked at my friend about five times before my friend snapped at him -- I was happy he did.

The guy didn't look my way at all until my friend sat next to me.

Was it because my friend's from the middle east ??? He has a deep accent but I like his deep accent.

This has happen a few other times too ....... is there another deep prejudice building in the U.S.????

Is 27 years old too old to be living at home? Even though you are totally independent, except you don't pay rent. It's also very easy for you to get to work, but you might have to move farther away to afford an apartment. Do I cut my losses and get an apartment or stay home 2 more years and save for a condo. I am just thinking change would be good, but am I a fool to rent b/c I can't afford a condo yet?
