Punching them is wrong. Sicking your dog on them is wrong. Spraying them with pepper spray, though a good deterrent,is wrong. You can call the police and have them chased off or removed.
The best thing to do is to call the cops.
To keep them away from you. Put a human skull outside your door on a pole and a sign under it that says "He Believed in converting to Christianity". Or "Christians beware" Though that is a totally tasteless it does keep Witnesses away from your door. Then so does a sign stating No trespassing and No Soliciting.
I do detest the practice of converting and witnessing.

It's probably their own fault for trying to convert you, if you're the type of person whose first reaction is a violent one. They should have been able to sniff that reaction out beforehand. If they're being rude or abbrasive about converting you, just tell them you're not interested- theres no need for violence. After all, regardless of what their religion is, they're only trying to do what they think is helpful for you.

What good would it do ? Wouldn't be the first time. Christians endure punches all the time. Below the belt and on top. So what is new under the sun? After so long they would not bother you. Doesn't take a Christian long to know who they can tallk to and who they can't. Keep your hands and fists off of any one.

Well, you've read some of their answers. If you are sure you have the best punch, I guess you could try it. But yes, everything considered, it would be rude. Does being rude concern you?

How old are you? Isn't that something a juvenile might consider doing? Assault is illegal, so yeah, it it would be not only rude but wrong too. It is called freedom of speech. People can minister and evangelize all they want. Maybe you are the one who needs the reality check, not them.

would it be rude for a religious person to punch you for trying to convert them by belittling them?

WHETHER CHRISTIAN OR NON-CHRISTIAN I WOULDN'T PUNCH ANYONE. THE PERSON DOING THE PUNCHING GET'S THE ASSAULT CHARGES. IF THIS PERSON IS RELENTLESS ABOUT WANTING YOU TO CONVERT THIS IS CALLED HARASSMENT. THEN YOU HAVE HARASSMENT CHARGES. SO, I WOULD TELL THE PERSON THAT I AM NOT INTERESTED. THEN WALK AWAY DON'T LOOK BACK. THIS IS NOT A WAY TO CONVERT ANYONE. IT IS YOUR CHOICE NOT THEIRS.

why are you trying to convert me?

You trying to convert me into the "no converting" religion?
stop converting people here
:D

p.s. any controversial dialog is when two persons TRYING to convert other on their side. So, even if you think you're not taking sides on the issues.... you are taking side of "not taking sides". You DO try to convert people into "not converting". Which is self-refuting....
;-)

It would be more than rude. It's pretty pathetic when people use physical violence as a means to handling something a person says.

I had the same disire after three distinct and vocal "no thank yous" to a Mormon last week. But, not it would be the wrong thing to do.
