Stay where you are, if your family is not putting you out, don't fall for society's views on leaving the home by the age of 18. It's not that type of world anymore. It's expensive out there and if you can save and purchase a condo, it will be beneficial b/c you can claim that in your taxes. Rent is throwing money away. Give yourself two years to save. Find the average price of an apartment in your area and put that amount away each month for two years, you might have the down payment for the condo.
Best of luck.

the answer lies in the "why" of why you are doing this. If you are doing this for a temporary break to save for a condo or house you might say alright. If you are sponging off your folks ... that's not a good idea. If you can't afford to live independent of your folks like lots of middle aged people are encountering, then, you do what you have to do even, if it means moving in with your folks. Each case has to be assessed on its own merits .

I had an uncle whom lived at home until he was in his mid 30's. He had a well paying job and he helped pay bills and helped out around the house. He wasn't a free loader or anything. I don't think anything is wrong with staying at home, but try to pitch in when you can and don't be a free loader. Maybe pitch in on some of the bills and buy some food everyonce in a while so mom and dad don't have to.
when my uncle was planning on moving out(he had land bought and a building already built on his land) his father,my grandfather, got really sick. he stayed to help out with that. now he has a house of his own, but he goes back all the time to make sure my grandmother is doing fine.

stay home and save for a condo ,it doesn't matter that you can't really let loose in your parents house. But you need to be owning something when you move out ,that will keep your past from looking stupid

27 years is kind of old to be living at home, but if you have a real goal and actually are doing very well saving up, go for it, that is if your single and your parents aren't hinting.

If your folks are ok with it, then it's not wrong. But, I think you should contribute towards expenses (you mentioned not paying rent, but didn't mentioned if you helped in other ways - cooking, cleaning, helping pay utilities, etc).

Why may you lease a motor vehicle like that? it is insane, you're so fearful about a motor vehicle depreciating in value...a minimum of you personal the motor vehicle on the finished of the interior most loan no matter if it truly is of decrease value or no longer, in case you lease a motor vehicle continuously you'll finally end up paying more beneficial funds than you may in case to procure a motor vehicle. also, at the same time as it truly is all stated and carried out, you nevertheless do not personal a motor vehicle. purchase a more interior your budget used motor vehicle in case you do not plan on using too a lot, discover an older civic or accord, they make sturdy commuter autos.
