I've been in my new job for 3 weeks and I thought i'd do the secret santa to get to know people... I got a man from my dept, he's around 40, Chinese, and doesn't talk much. He's a nice man but what do I get??? i don't know if he drinks coffee, or likes chocolate or drinks beer/wine/spirits... i really don't want to embarass myself because although its secret, you always find out who gave what in the end. its a $10 limit by friday!!!!!!!!!

i keep reading how the black sold other blacks into slavery.. it is my understanding that the white came to africa a took them as slaves and sold them am i right on this one .. yes they help make us a richer country .. it dont make it right .. but did we not do this against their will .. and it has been 200 years should not all this crap be stopped and should we not get on with out lives,,, the south will never rise again not the way they want it to.. yeah by the way i live in ga.. but enough is enough

If Jesus is "god's son" and he is considered god too.. then how come Adam isn't worshipped as god's son? I mean he didn't have a father OR mother.

I think my BIGGEST pet peeve these days is the butchering of the English language. "Especially" is the worst pronounced word today. I always want to say: "Look at how it is spelled!!!" But then I think, they probably don't know that either!

Even on TV...regular shows...NOT reality TV...people you would expect to be educated don't know how to speak properly.
I know this isn't a questions...so...

What is YOUR pet peeve in how people butcher the English language???

Seems like something would throw it off, and if so, what if we get pushed toward the Sun??? We would burn up wouldn't we. And some would think that the Earth is millions of years old, so this means that it has beeb spinning for that long without getting knocked off balance???

Now first I would like to say that in no way am I attempting to make you question yourself, I only want to have this explained to me logically the way you see it through your religion. I have debated with many people about this and I have never recieved a satisfactory or believable answer. So please do not take offence and do your best to answer my questions.
If Adam and Eve were the only man and woman then where did their sons find wives that werent related to them, as in their sisters?? If they married thier sisters then that is incest, that being said does that imply that incest is acceptable in the eyes of god? Also in Genesis it is stated that god made all the beasts of the land and water and that Adam named them all, mentioning cattle I believe but if this was the beginning wouldnt it have been dinosaurs? Why is there no mention of creatures so fantastic as dinosaurs if the bible is historically accurate? How do you explain the conflicts with proven scientific facts?

In your opinon, of course. What do you think the best Christmas present is.

I think of course, is love. LOL Or like, helping poor people or doing something to help others. As we all say, Christmas is about giving, not getting! :)
