If Jesus is "god's son" and he is considered god too.. then how come Adam isn't worshipped as god's son? I mean he didn't have a father OR mother.

Yes, I can - Jesus (PBUH) is not the son of God, he was just a human. Solves my dilemma!

Adam sinned Jesus was sinless. If you had any understanding you would no that. There is no question that cannot be answered according to the word of God by a servant of God

1Cr 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [was made] a quickening spirit.

Jesus was the Last Adam. Jesus was the only human the was made a quickening spirit. Risen from the dead.

God made Adam. Adam was the beginning of a line of beings that had a purpose. Adam and his descendents were not God. Adam was made to serve God, different from the angels. The angels were spirit, and man is both spirit and flesh.

Since Adam is the new creation of God; man, he is not God. God will be the only one worshipped. Jesus was the incarnation of God. He was (according to the Bible), the Son of God, who emptied Himself, became a man, who was the kinsman redeemer typified in the Book of Ruth in the Old Testament, and died for the sinful nature that began in Adam and Eve, and continued through the entire line of the descendants of Adam.

Adam fell. Men and women die because of what Adam and Eve did. Otherwise, we would not die.

It is not as tricky as you think it is...
I hope this will help. If it's just a word games for you hten sorry, otherwise read it.

Consider this: when Bible talks about Jesus Christ as a son of God, it means not the some kind of realation in chronological order (as if God the Father existed before Son, and then Son was "born"). When Scripture talk about Jesus using term "Son of God" it reffers to the ontological equality with the Father in His being. That is God the Father and God the Son are not the same in hte sense of our human knowtion of heredity. It is used to express the meaning of Jesus's essense. Which is the same with the Father.
To sum it up, Jesus has exactly hte same "kind" of essense with the Father as well as with the Holy Spirit. But it does not reffer to the sense that Jesus was created some time ago in time.
Jesus is as much as infinte as Father and the Holy Spirit. One essense, but three persons. Bible sometimes uses somewhat anthropomorphic language to explain to us -finite people - something about infinite God. Jesus is different from the Father in the roles (as in Salvation) but not in essense, in being, in ontology...
So, the Jesus and the Adam are not even close when it comes to their natures. Adam was created by God. Jesus was never created. Jesus took upon himself human nature in addition to his divine nature so that He could undo what Adam did. In some sense Jesus was a 'second Adam', but only in the sense that through first Adam sin came into the world, and throuth the Jesus ("second Adam") came salvation.

It is not the fact of having father or mother that matters!
You completely missing the point.
Adam was a human being and had one human nature. Jesus existed always (with the Father and the Holy Spirit - the Trinity), but at the particular time in the human history Jesus was incarnated (took upon Himself a human nature) to save humanity that could not be saved otherwise.
The reason why He did it is - out of his love for humanity.

hope that helped
~~peace~~

Because Adam was created by God, Jesus is not a creation. He has always been part of God John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word WAS God. vs 14 and the Word BECAME flesh and made His dwelling among us.

In our Church.. Adam was god's 1st son... as we are all sons and daughters of God... so thereby should Adam be the first son of God.... and Jesus was the 2nd son of God....

Adam is not worshipped as Jesus is because 1.) God never commanded it... 2.) Adam never paid the ultimate price willingly sacrificing himself for our sins.

So I bet I CAN and DID answer your question:)

Adam was created from dirt, but Jesus wasn't. Jesus is a spirit or part of God. You can read this in:
John 1:1-2
In the beginnig was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.
The same was it the beginning with God.

Jesus symbolizes the part of us that expresses in physical terms, believing we are separate beings (selves); "God's son" is the Christ, which is our true Self.

Adam symbolizes that part as well, the part that must dig in the dirt just to "live"; Eve represents the intuitive aspect of this part of us (I realize you did not ask about Eve, but it's important). Adam is still God's son...everything created is God's son...God's Beloved.

This is why Jesus is considered to be God; it teaches that all creation is one. Jesus Christ is the example, not the exception.

You need to remember that when Jesus was on earth he was half man. Jesus is only one with God.
Jesus is the only unique son of God. If Adam were to be worshipped then all of us are worthy to be worshipped too because we're all children of God.

You see, I told you I could answer.

I can tell you are unfamiliar with the OT, that's OK, its a tough book to understand. Adam was created by God. Christ was with God since the beginning of time. Christ was involved in the creation of the world and all that was made. Throughout the OT there are glimpses of Christ appearing in different symbols or as an actual person. He came as a man but was involved in the plan of salvation. He chose to come to earth as a baby so you could understand. Man is terrified of God but not a baby.Brilliant idea.
