NOT true

This is how it happen: There has never been A ONE UNIFIED GROUP WHO IDENTIFIED THEMSELVES BY THE TERM BLACK that's a European Racist creation.

The people on the continent of Africa don't buy into the racist doctrine of all being one nation because we all have similar skin color. They see themselves as different nations and always have.

By putting us into one group they is now able to make such statements as "AFRICANS SOLD OTHER AFRICANS INTO SLAVERY". no such thing, Black skin tribes and people were sold by other nations who just happen to have black skin, we were also sold by nations of people with white skin, Yellow skin, brown skin, red skin and so on.

So they now label all who live on that continent as one, as if they all have the same beliefs or customs. Since this happen now they can say "it was their own people who sold them into slavery".

fact
1. There own people didn't sell them to the "white man"
2. A lot of people who happen to be Black traded slaves with whites.
3. Many cases where they would black male them to sell others into slavery. Like if they didn't sell them slaves white would shoot blacks or take them captive.
4. Slavery is illegal in all the nations black today come from, just as it is in the USA. Their is illegal slavery in Africa, USA and eslewhere, but they don't teach you that.
5. Blacks were servants in Africa the ones who did sell sold them thinking that they were going to work for free. like cooking cleaning and those kinds of things. But we know that wasn't the case here.
6. They make you believe the all of them sold others into slavery. As if they did the worst evil but no one can name any that sold just 1 of the 60 million into slavery.
7. last but not least if life was so bad in Africa and the "africans' were so cruel why is there never any stories of "blacks" thanking white from taking them form there native land to come here? Why were many trying to run away and back to Africa if it was such a evil place.

The slavers used tribes to round up slaves to be sold, the whites exported them, mainly British, to the Americas, and yes they had a cruel hard life, but like you said it was 200 hundred years ago, and how many would want to go back?
Not many, they have a life style, no matter how poor they are, a darn site better than what they have in Africa!

Yeah, it was said that one african tribe would capture members of a rival african tribe and those captured members would become slaves. Then the white people went to africa and were sold the slaves (That's why some black people hate to be called african americans because the africans were the one'e who sold them) . It was later on in history when whites begin to sell their slaves to other whites and kept them on their plantation against their own will.

I think the reason people of African descent still discuss and rally together against racism (using slavery as a main focus in their argument), is because it still exsists. Blacks are still held back and discriminated against because of nothing more than skin colour. That's the simple disgraceful truth. Are there people in every race that make excuses?? YES! That doesn't make the valid arguements against racism any less valid. BTW, I'm a white Canadian woman.

We go on with our lives, because God allows us to. We don't sit back and talk about Slavery and Abomination. Why should we continue to talk about something that happened over 300 years ago?. What does'nt make it right,is that some people just can't seem to "live for today",and forgot about the past?. (Yeah) we all know that there was slavery in Africa. (Next Question?).

I guess you have never seen the mini series Roots, many times certain African tribes would capture people from a rival tribe and sell them to the White man in exchanged for guns or something.
