If a pagan doesn't believe in God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit. What do they celebrate during the Holiday Season? What rituals/celebrations, If any at all?

What if a family member, who celebrates Christmas and/or is a Christian gives them a gift or includes them in a religious celebration or act? Do you go with the flow or stay true to your beliefs?

I am a Christian and maybe completly ignorant of your faith. Please, forgive me if I have affended you in any way. I was just wondering and I no longer speak to my long distance friend who is or was a pagan when I knew her.

I know that there is alot of restrictions such as:

Cannot Listen To Music( Due to explicit lyrics but you could listen to childrens songs such as twinkle twinkle little star).

Cannot Watch Movies ( Cause Most Are Violent and Sexual In Nature)

Sports I guess is the only thing you can do but then again you have to be completely covered so its an obstacle.

So that would leave eating out ? but that would be unhealthy if you do it all the time.

The door is going to look like a mantle and fireplace with all the trimmings. I need something clever to go above this. I work in the medical records department and would like to have something that went with the department, but if not just something clever and funny.

I know there's something in the Bible about 2 or more people being gathered.

Does the amount of God increase in proportion to the number of people?

I am tierd of going to the store and hearing this mexican talk. Now, if they want to live here and become american, they should learn English. If I traveled to Mexico or South Amercia and decieded I wanted to live there, they would want me to learn their Language wouldn't they? I think it is o.k. to not forget where they came from and still speak in their Language amoung themselfs, but they are not even trying to learn. You see it all the time when you go up to the self serve at grocery stores. It asks, English or Spanish or on the telephone when you make a call. Give me a break, I am one american that is tierd of it. I can't even talk to one because they act like they don't know what I am saying or just act stupid because they do know what I am saying. I have already gave that a test, and yes they knew what I said. Does not wanting to learn make them stupid? I think they should make it mandatory for anyone of a different language to learn to speak English in America.

The reason why life and certains things are so precious and valued is because they are finite or limited in numbers. If one lived forever why would anything have meaning or value when they can be done or enjoyed a billion years from now (because the perverbiable shot clock has no time limit)

The Bible is not the answer to me ,it lies within the heart and soul of a man.No doctrine of any faith should dictate whats right and wrong.A person must decide for himself after soul searching and coming from a place of love from within, not the Bible or koran or tora ,ect.No one tells me what is right or wrong,I search the heart and soul.I feel i am a man of good character and know without being told like a little child .If you can not then something is wrong with your own moral compass.Besides we make mistakes, that is why we are hear ,I feel to grow and learn,to expand towards enlightenment

Thank you for answering. I love all of you and consider you all friends. We are the same, because we have the light of god within all of us. And even if that means not to believe in god, we are still one connected to the source. If love is god, then to love is to be the likeness of god. Can you honestly say that you love me, even if that means not to know me. you should. For I am you, and you are me. To love me is to love you. Do you love me? Now just in case this will not post, I will say god god god, and god again.

It's a critical discipline for Bible-believers who want to walk in victory, with the joy of the Lord - one I struggle with. What about you?

I believe a lot of people don't really care about the true meaning of christmas. And i also think parents aren't doing a good job of teaching it to their kids either.

All anyone cares about now a days are what they want for christmas. And they hope they get this, and they hope they get that....it's kind of disappointing.

the real meaning of christmas is to appreciate what you have and who you have with you on the holidays. And be thankful you have a home to come to on christmas...and to celebrate the birth of christ.

So please try to convince me that girls are not just as shallow as guys. I have been noticing lately that there are many girls I have met or have known for a while that complain about singleness, but their standards are wicked high. Now when I say standards I don't mean personality standards, because I have yet to meet a girl that actually looks at personality first. I am just a little tired of hearing the complaints.

Me and my best friend talked about me hosting a Christmas party at my home. I let most of my friends know about it and the date we were planning for. Dec. 15th. Anyway, one of the girls (Jane) who knew I was having my party has invited most of my friends to another Christmas party on Dec. 16th. At this point, I'm afraid most people are going to go to Jane's party because she is our boss at work. I'm worried that most people won't be up for 2 partys in a row, and will diss my party on Friday night to go to hers on Saturday night. Should I continue to have the party? I have ordered numerous party trays and plan on buying a lot of alcohol. Do you think it would be a waste? Is this a bad idea? Or should I just carry on like normal and hope everyone just continues to come as planned? I don't want to waste money on stuff if I don't have to. Any ideas on what to do are greatly appreciated.

I read in Islamic history books that prophet Muhammed slaughtered ALL the men of a Jewish tribe (Banu Korayza), enslaved ALL women and children of that tribe and sold them in slavery market to buy weapons.

The reason was allegations that the leaders of that tribe MIGHT had allied with his enemies.

I was shocked when I read that story because I have always thought that prophet Muhammed was one of the most peacful persons in history.

Is that story true?
