Me and my best friend talked about me hosting a Christmas party at my home. I let most of my friends know about it and the date we were planning for. Dec. 15th. Anyway, one of the girls (Jane) who knew I was having my party has invited most of my friends to another Christmas party on Dec. 16th. At this point, I'm afraid most people are going to go to Jane's party because she is our boss at work. I'm worried that most people won't be up for 2 partys in a row, and will diss my party on Friday night to go to hers on Saturday night. Should I continue to have the party? I have ordered numerous party trays and plan on buying a lot of alcohol. Do you think it would be a waste? Is this a bad idea? Or should I just carry on like normal and hope everyone just continues to come as planned? I don't want to waste money on stuff if I don't have to. Any ideas on what to do are greatly appreciated.

Have your party as planned. Most leftovers can be saved/frozen and will most likely to be used over the holiday season. PARTY ON!!!

Go ahead and have it. People love to drink and party and would do it every night if there was an opportunity

I would have it anyway. Since you've already invited people, it would be kinda strange to un-invite them. I would go to both if I was invited to both. I love parties!
Don't sweat it and Enjoy!
