What do very religious Muslims do for entertainment?

I know that there is alot of restrictions such as:

Cannot Listen To Music( Due to explicit lyrics but you could listen to childrens songs such as twinkle twinkle little star).

Cannot Watch Movies ( Cause Most Are Violent and Sexual In Nature)

Sports I guess is the only thing you can do but then again you have to be completely covered so its an obstacle.

So that would leave eating out ? but that would be unhealthy if you do it all the time.

Well, there are lots of entertaining things to do. I mean, I don't listen to songs with explicit lyrics or racist, demoralizing content nor do I watch movies like that, but there are lots of songs/movies that don't have that in them. And the reason I don't prefer that type of entertainment is because I truly believe it somehow slows my soul! And of course because I know God is All-Knowing and All-Wise.

And other than that, my husband watches and plays sports, and we do lots of things like sports, white water rafting, hiking, camping, fishing, games, the internet, making our own movies (corny, I know!) eating out, lots of stuff. We're more social and into our family and friends and getting to know other people, b/c it makes us feel good being open minded and expanding ourselves. :) And I personally love art - like painting, photography, crafts, so I do that. :)

So, yeah, I mean, the restrictions are only there for our betterment, and I'm happy without them. :)

I do anything anyone else would do for entertainment. I read, wrok, watch movies, listen to music, go online to yahoo answers and islamic websites. I go out with my husband to the movies, to dinner, to friends houses. My husband and I spend alot of time with our Muslim friends. We are going to Virginia for 3 days today to go skiing. Next month we are going to Niagara Falls. We are normal people who have a high values system. We don't need to go out and drink or go to clubs to have a good time, but we still have a good time doing other fun things.

They watch the latest beheading videos on Al Jazeera. As for Poki Poki, I'm not so sure he's really a muslim. Seems to me he is just another infidel who thinks it's cool to act like a muslim. Just look at the song lyrics on his profile. The song he quotes is "Civil War" by Guns N Roses, an infidel group famous for drinking way too much alcohol, something banned by islam. If Puki Paki is really a muslim, he would not listen to such music.

ya i left all that stuff..i m living totaly a noraml life...these are usless things to do.i love to read books which gives me knowldge.i like to cook.i like to make new frinds.i like to use net.and i dont like sports:P.still i have a happy life.i m 100% satisfy with my life.i thanked to Allah for his mercy n kindness for me.still i m not good muslim.but i m trying my best.when i practic my islam it gives me so much satisfaction.movies music are not essential for life.main thing in our life is satisfaction n pleasure.i have both of these without Movies Music n other stuff.i feel no charm in Movies Music...beoz these are not real thing..All movies have samiler end.hero Wins n villain killed:D.
