I'm from Dominican and my bf and i got engament and we gonna married next year! Im gonna live in the States with him and i would like to know what is this looks like because ALOT of people had told me its totally different from the country where im comin from. My bf is living in Pennsylvania, but he's gonna take me everywhere.

i would like to know about Culture, Education, Places to visit, the way the ppl are with you (if they are nice or not)... everything!

Please provide scriptural proof, if you can. My husband and I sometimes think our old house is haunted or inhabited by some kind of spirit entity.

I know there are many Biblical examples of people being inhabited and controlled by demons, but what about places?

I was bought up believing God was God and Jesus was the son of God and there is only one God. I am now a muslim revert and belive much the same thing, except Jesus was a man and was a Prophet as was Mohammed (peace be upon him) - I even believe in the second coming (except Jesus will return as a Muslim). When did Christianity get confused and start saying Jesus IS God, it makes no sence and that was never taught to me as a Christian, is it a new thing?

I'm Christian, and of course I've been raised, it's a sin. The first time, this guy who was my friend Freshman year in high school told me he thinks he's gay(cuz back then, gay people were bullied a lot). I was shocked, cuz he was the first person to ever tell me he was gay, I always heard about it on television. But, luckily, I easily learned to accept people for who they are, despite what they believe, what's their life style, or what they do. So, I was comfortable after I was shocked, lol. For the most part, I am straight, I had a crush on one girl, and a casual thing with two others, but I wouldn't date a girl, I love being with men and in love with men. I love my gay friends. I have such a diversity of friends. Christians do portray gay people as if they are the nastiest people, but I believe God shows them favor like anyone else. Too many Christians try to play God, and I'm not one. God is loving, and they don't seems to remember that at times, which is why they can be hypocrites

We used to hear Merry Christmas every where and now if you say it to answer the phone at work, you offend someone or waiting on a customer. Most of the time now you have to say Happy Holidays, it just doesn't have the same meaning. I love this time of year and want to say to everyone Merry Christmas. And they should be able to say what ever they saying are for the holidays. But don't be offend if i say to you Merry Christmas. I mean this is Jesus birthday, so maybe we should have been brought up to say Happy Birthday, Jesus.

Help! Mother in law is making it hard to look forward to the holidays!?
My huband and I were recently married in September of this year. We have been together for 6 years. My mother in law is all of a sudden making a big deal about the holidays. For instance she wanted us to go to her house this year for Thanksgiving and go to my moms next year.My husband told her this wasn't going to work because we want to be with both sides for the holidays. I offered to do Thanksgiving at my house so that we could all be toghether and she wouldn't have to feel that the holidays are a big rush. She refused my offer. So I thought we agreed on splitting the holiday we would go to her house at 11am and have appitizers with her. Her dinner was in the middile of the day and this year was our year to have dinner with my parents because last year we only got to spend a few hours at my moms. The night before Thanksgiving my MIL called my husband to discuss Thanksgiving and he must have told her agian about how our day was planned we would show up at 11 have appitizers and spend

She then said that we always run out on her to get to my moms which is untrue we were spending most of the day with her. The next year we would eat our main meal with her. She was so upset she hung up on him and he was so upset at her that we didn't go. They didn't talk for a week and when they did he opologized for not being there and she was still feeling the same way and said that . everything was about me and my mother. That is also untrue we tried working it out with her. 1. I offered to do thanksgiving so that nobody was torn away. 2. I my mom doesn't care about the time you do dinner but

if you could do your thanksgiving at lunch time or dinner time everything would work out alot better. She likes to have hers smack dab in the middle of the day. I don't know what to do about her she is starting to cause problems between me and my husband and he doesn't want me to say anything to her. She can't respect us as a married couple she wants everything her way. I am starting to really dislike her. What do I do. She also says that discussing the holidays is between her and my husband. Is it because we have an ancient moral standard, that doesn't get re-invented whenever it would be emotionally or financially convienent to do so? Why does that indicate a lack of rational thought? Do you re-invent standards of physical measurement to fit your agenda at will? New rulers, new ways to measure pounds/kilos, new measuring cups? Does the existence of THESE standards indicate a lack of imaginitive thought or rationality? If not, then why accuse theists of "non-thinking" for accepting standards for interpersonal behaviour? Please explain!

A person who wants to follow tru religion, wants to believe true religion and wants to worship and obey true god's command, but ends up following the false one, and died by following that.
Should not God have mercy and fogive him/her..afterall he/she didn't want to follow Satan willingly...how could she/he know it is false..God won't come and say to him/her directly that this is true religion and u follow it...I mean should i follow ISlam, christian or Judaism....it is soo difficult

I am catholic and have always believed in God. I attended church once a week till I was out of High School. I don't go to church every sunday now but I felt as long as I believe it would be ok to miss mass. But recently I'm starting to question my faith. It seems like no matter how much I pray to God to make me a stronger person or to help me in my time of need, He takes more away from me. Its like He ignores me. I try to keep my head up and think that He has a plan, but I'm starting to have my doubts. Is his plan to make me depressed? I don't want to lose my faith, but I feel I am. I need advice. Please.

In the bible it just says he was not in the tomb, and even today people believe they see loved ones who are dead long after they have been buried, the mind just doesn't want to let them go, so could it be that Jesus' body was just stolen from his tomb?
