The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.
Why are we casting pearls before swine on this forum?

We are commanded to:
"PREACH THE WORD, in season and out...reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and doctrine; for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine...but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers telling them what they WANT to hear...." (2Tim.4:2)
" Now the Spirit speaks expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy..."(1Tim.4:1

Yes Jesus said that statment but we are to spread the word of the gopsel so that unbelievers can have achane at the very things that we are embracing and looking forward to, How selfish would we be if we did not spread the word of God. It would almost be like not teaching oour children and I know the only thing I can take to heaven is hopefully all of my family . In here we have all kinds and it takes all kinds to make the world go around. I always pray that maybe one or more of the answers in here can help lead someone else to the Lord. May God Bless you all and brighten your lives.

There is a difference between holy and sacred things that we should not be casting before swine and the truthfulness of the gospel.

...Not at all. We are to be ambassadors for Christ - does an ambassador keep his mouth shut? Who else will tell them? How do we know anyone's spiritual condition?
...Read from 2 Corinthians 5:
...17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
...18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,
...19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
...20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
***********************************************
...Again, we are to bring proclaim the good new of Jesus Christ...
...13 for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."
...14 How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?
...15 How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, "HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!"
...16 However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, "LORD, WHO HAS BELIEVED OUR REPORT?"
...17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
...I think you you should re-think your position. I pray that all wil believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.
...Whosoever will, may come.

because just maybe, maybe somebody else is curious and our answers might help them even if it doesn't help the asker. it's called "gleaning".
While the swine may trample the pearl underfoot, the merchant will buy the whole field, honey, for that "pearl of great price."
