In the bible it just says he was not in the tomb, and even today people believe they see loved ones who are dead long after they have been buried, the mind just doesn't want to let them go, so could it be that Jesus' body was just stolen from his tomb?

I think Jesus was just playing dead so he could disappear. It's a well known fact he was being investigated for tax evasion.

No. It could not be. Roman soldiers guarded the tomb, and upon fear of death, were vigilant in their duty.

You're not the first to look for alternatives to the truth of the resurrection. Read Matthew 28:8-15:

"So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. 'Greetings,' he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, 'Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.'

"While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, telling them, 'You are to say, His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.' If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.' So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day."

Luke 24

“The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, 20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him. 21 But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened. 22 Yes, and certain women of our company, who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us. 23 When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive. 24 And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see.”

Stolen by whom?

The Romans and The Jews......they would have paraded the body around to end the religion.

The Disciples.....They would not have dies as martyrs if they knew the whole was a fake.

No. There were several eye witnesses who recorded the events of the Resurrection. Jesus came to them, He ate with them, He invited them to touch Him.
Nowhere in all recorded history has anyone ever eaten with a ghost.
And the tomb was guarded so no one could steal the body. The "stolen body" theory was a rumour spread by the Jews and the Romans.
Stealing a body would count as a desecration.

Yes, In the BIble Jesus himself predicted His death and resurection. When Later in the Bible, we here of Jesus being missing frm the Tomb, we also hear that he appeard to Hundreds of wittnesses. if his Biody were meryly stolen, it would have been easy to prove that Jesus ressurection was a Hoax, But because of the Testimony of HUndresd who saw him with their own eyes, his ressurection cannot be disgarded as fallicy. The second reason his Body could not have been stolen, is because there is one way in and one way out of the Tomb. The entrance to the tomb was guarded by the mondern day equivolent of aremd war soldiers. If there were any attempt to steal the Body, the Roman soldiers would have speared the people to death.

The Death and ressurection of Jesus was meant to be, Let me explain by asking you a few questions.......................

Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and the BIble says "he who hates his brother is a Murderer." have you ever hated someone? Listen carefuly, God didn’t see me as the “nice guy” I imagined myself to be… and he doesn’t see you that way either. Nothing you’ve ever done is hid from His holy eyes. Will you be innocent or guilty on the Day of Judgment? Listen to your conscience. You know that you will be guilty, and therefore end up in Hell. That’s not God’s will. He provided a way for you and I to be forgiven.
He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death. you see, when Jesus ressurected, he put the final nail in the coffin of death. He did this all for you. The BIble says if you will repent (turn from sin) and trust in Jesus, God will forgive you of all sin, past, present, and future, an grant you the gift of everlasting life.
God Bless

Like Jonah, Jesus hide.

Jesus's friends, families, and followers thought that they seen a ghost when Jesus appeared to them, only to be assured by Jesus that he wasn't a ghost.

As for the stolen body.

Who would have stolen it? The guards?

Why stole it? To remove the evidences?

Over 500 people saw Jesus after His Resurrection. They also saw His Ascension.

Not to a Christian. To me, the significance of the human death of Jesus Christ was not the sacrifice (Good Friday), nor the Resurrection (Easter), but rather the time between the two when he descended into Hell.

How could someone move a 2 ton boulder? How could they do it without waking the guards? Why would disciples steel it, if they did they were martyred for no reason. Why would the religious leaders of that day steel it? Were they not trying to prove He wasn't God?

No. He was raised on the 3rd day.
Friday crucifixion; the Law required burial before sundown (Jewish days end at sundown)
Saturday in the grave.
(Sundown on Saturday begins the 3rd day.)
And at sunrise on Sunday the tomb is found empty.
