i am in charge of bringing pie and champaign to a thanksgiving family reunion and there will be 20 people but i dont know how many to buy well thanks for taking your time to answer.

"Jesus said, I am the light of the world, if you follow me you wont walk in darkness but have the light of life." John 8

so enlightenement comes from Messiah Jesus

Isaiah 9:6 predicted Jesus the messiah to be God-700 bce-and no one disagrees with this cause it is so clear
"Unto us a child is born, a son is given, and he will be the wonderful counselor , almighty God, and the prince of peace."

Jesus taught to be born again so you dont have to go to hell and will go to heaven "Hell is gnashing teeth forever, weeping and cursing, cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 19-22nd chapters and in there is also the enlightenment of the joy of heaven too

John 12:48 "He that rejecteth me and recieveth not my words hath one that judges them, the words that I have spoken." John 12 vs 48

in John 3 he tells how to be enlightened "Except you repent and be born again you can not see the kingdom of heaven."

well what do you think enlightenement is-Jesus or rejecting the joy of Him?

Ive been working with children my whole life and decided to make a change. Ill be coming over to this 91 yr old womans house and basically just entertain her and be with her, and help her with basic stuff. As simple as it sounds, Im nervous because Im not used to being around older people, and i have a hard time understanding if their speech is slurred or mumbled or maybe Im talking to loud or to much etc...any advice? Also....how in the heck do you play solitare with two people? Thats her favorite thing to do and I only know how to do it with one. Thanks!

I feel so bad about myself but I'm not attracted to black men, I don't know why and I wish that I was because it makes me feel so racist. I tried going out with a couple but I just couldn't get into the date. Is there something wrong with me? Why am I only attracted to white men? Cuz I'm as open minded as the next chick and I'm friends with plenty of black people, is this a case with many people? Or is there something wrong with me?

I don't honestly think there is going to be life after death. I believe that when we die we just don't exist. Its the only thing that sounds logical to me. Everything else just sounds like a fairytale.

Why is this website so rampant with people that want to bash Christians? I see hardly anyone doing this to other religions such as hindu or Muslim. Is it because Christians are much easier targets? Or are you afraid to insult a muslim?

I see so many warped perspectives about religions on this web site.

Acts 9:1 and following

verse 1 Saul breathed out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of Jesus...

vs 3 he saw the light and came to know Jesus as his savior and best friend

vs 20 and straightway he preached the Messiah in the Synagogues, that he is the son of God.

vs 22 Saul increased themore in strength,and confounded theJews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Messiah.

why he was a rich rabbi-who killed Messianic believers (Christians) but now he was preaching about Messiah Jesus-why -he could have kept getting alot of money and stayed a great rabbi and a hunter of believers in the Messiah Jesus-why would he quit killing Christians and become a Messianic Jew too?

This next question is for Christians!
Do you think there are other physical beings in the universe?
IF NOT: Then what is the point of anything beyond Earth and it's solar system?

I understand the science of the universe. My question is summoned from the thought that if god only created humans than why would God need millions of other galaxies to hold together the existance of Earth... That is not a good example of the "almighty" to me.
