Ever hear the phrase, "You can dish it out, but you can't take it"? Christian Fundamentalists have been on the attack for years now, trying to deny rights to homosexuals, trying to outlaw abortions, trying to keep women from obtaining equal rights, and trying to impose their own morals - many of them non-biblical - on the rest of society. Non-Fundamentalists are finally fighting back by speaking out against their campaigns, their media onslaughts, and their mistaken notions of truth, and the Fundamentalists don't like it very much. They can dish it out, but they can't take it. So when people of good conscience stand up for their rights, Fundamentalists cry foul - they claim they are being persecuted.

I don't know. I've seen an awful lot of Muslim bashing, Atheist bashing, and Pagan bashing on this site, too (in addition to Christian bashing). And, as a Pagan, I've gotten more hate mail and death threats from this site from people claiming to be Christian. As a matter of fact - all my "fan" mail comes from Christians. So - I don't think the bashing is exclusive to Christians being the only one's bashed. I think we're all being knocked around by eachother. The only people who seem to do very little to no bashing and who aren't bashed as often, are the Buddhists. Maybe we can all learn something from them?

Nothing to bash about Hinduism or Buddhism. Jews keep quiet about theirs because it's kind of a restricted club. Muslims get it too. Christians are the majority and the dominant population so they will naturally be the target of most attacks from the underrepresented minorities.

Christians are the first to tell us we are going to hell. Christians are the ones that are pushing for ID in science class, for the posting of The Ten Commandments in pubic places and for prayer in public school. I'm not afraid to insult a Muslim. I think all religion is dangerous.

I will disagree with any religious person. Christians are just more forceful with their point of view than most other religions.
