if Jews are the "chosen people" then why do they keep on getting screwed over? i dont want to be specific cuz im not racist but, wasnt there some big even around the 1940's that involved a certain group of people?

Everyone nods wisely about 'Global Warming' destroying Fish stocks; pollution genrally; need for re-cycling; killing innocent whales and the obscene amounts of Hormones put in meat (which is one of the reasons I am a vegetarian), to mention just a few But very few people actually try and change their own habits or support those who do. What if it was hers once, but you moved in and took it over, since all she ever did with it is keep Powerade and Vietnamese leftovers in the fridge?

When I was sick last week, she washed dishes after me, by hand. (Our dishwasher isn't working.) Sweet, right? Except she forgot what really hot water followed by really cold does to glass, and I have one less Pyrex baking dish, which they are not exactly giving away.

I also, just found out tonight, have two fewer glass storage containers, which again are not exactly being given away. Just in time for my holiday baking, too! She claims she told me, but I was hopped up on Nyquil, which is probably true.

*Is* there a good way to ban your partner from your kitchen?!

And can I say anything without sounding like a petty b!tch, or do I just rant to y'all?

Is Islam a Church or have they created their own Churches of Sunni and Shia Protestantism?

Are they Muslims-for-Jesus?

Is not there a Muslim Monastery operating on the internet to keep Jesus in their Islamic Church?

Can you imagine, before the mirror, how scruffy everyone must have looked..? Rivers are not ideal for checking eyeliner! My question is, has society today become way too vain? Would you agree, that there is some form of heirarchical social ranking based on looks? Look at Tony Blair and Jack Straw- they're pretty boys now compared to before! I just got a violation notice for "Chatting". My question was removed. I just asked "what is your cleaning routine, dusting, cleaning, vacuuming, etc" I had over 25 answers, and then I was reported. Have you ever been reported? It seems to me that some questions and answers are really nasty, obscene and who knows what else, but they remain on Y.A. Community guidelines seems so ridiculous at times, and strange. It's gotten so that it's hard to know just what to ask. How do you feel about the weird Community Guidelines and the violations?

I just posted the Iraq comments and the consequences of leaving, would it be possilbe to get some responces that are a little less retarded? The whole, "Bush really got to you" and the "crawl back under a rock" comments, come on, the least you could do is exist with an open mind. I swear, the land that was once known for allowing you to speak your mind seems to be gone. I mean you cant voice your opinion unless ofcourse you have the same opinion as everyone else.
If your beliefs are in anyway different people want to burn you at the steak (sorry for any spelling error). Jesus Christ, people I thought we were supposed to be a land of tolerance and rights to speak freely?

There has been such a hypocracy here. There are people of all faiths getting suspended and the only thing I can think of is that there are people out there who watch, read and report.
Let's get real, most people know one another a little bit here, and let's be honest, most of us are here for entertainment.
I find most people here whether entertaining in some way. Either they are arguing or laughing or in a few cases, just spreading the love.
Why report if there isn't real reason to? Report those who are a real danger, not the ones who aren't hurting anyone!

Jesus is either the biggest liar and mad man who ever lived or he was what he says he was, "the Son of God."

He cannot be both. He cannot be JUST a good guy, or an enlightened being like Mother Theresa, Ghandi or Buddah.

Can you imagine the 80 year old Grandma on her death bed crying for Jesus to take her away? Can you imagine the soldier in the foxholes in the Middle East praying to Jesus for safety?

Jesus was either the most crazy, evil, liar that ever lived or he WAS the Son of God. What's your opinion/decision?

Here in the real world we can see that intelligence is a product of growth and learning and development. It's a measure of how well we apply what we have learned from the past to situations we are dealing with in the present. Even if you don't accept that human intelligence is the result of 4 billion years or so of evolution, it's still clearly the case that a new born baby is pretty clueless, and only becomes intelligent over the years by learning from experience.

Theists assert that an intelligent god exists, fully formed, from nothing, with no history, no growth, no learning from experience, no development of any sort. I would like to hear someone explain the nature of that intelligence such that it can exist without experience and without even the passage of time. What does intelligence mean, if not the ability to apply what we've learned from experience, and thus requiring development and the passing of time?

I'm seeing questions about race on here, some regular curiosity and some hateful, but I would like to know is what you guys think causes statistical differences in races. There are statistics like the following

Asians and ethnic European Jews (ave. IQ 110) are more intelligent than Whites (ave. IQ 100), Whites are more intelligent than Blacks (ave. IQ 70-85 depending on who you ask).

Blacks are better endurance athletes, while Asians are seemingly more flexible for sports like gymnastics, and Whites are in the middle.

Blacks have higher rates of twinning (having twins) than Whites, and many more than Asians.

These are generalizations, I believe people shouldn't be judged by generalizations but by how they actually are. There are very intellectual Blacks and good White athletes, but what does cause such statistical differences in the races? Genetics, environment, culture, or a combination of? After almost a century of trying to erase race it's still here. Please Be Nice.
