I ask because I'm constantly searching for the truth. Nobody has given me sufficient proof to end my search.

For an atheist, we don't ask question about god. You see, we don't have any god concept, so how can we ask a question about a meaningless word?

The problem lies with the believers...people like you. You're the one who loves to make these god talks? When a believer like you confronted an atheist, you supply the meaning of the word god. An atheist will just asked you questions about this god you are trying to sell. Got the picture?

So we are not questioning our non-belief, we are questioning why are you selling us this invisible product.

Of course I don't have all the answers. If I never questioned my own beliefs, I wouldn't be an atheist in the first place. Not being convinced that any gods exist doesn't mean you have all the other answers.

I'm very secure in my beliefs, and feel no need to question them. The 2 times that I did post questions pertaining to god, the reason was to challenge the god belief. The answers I recieved from the faithful amounted to the following:

No answer, just an "I'll pray for you"
circular logic with nothing to back it up,
and one flat out personal insult.

People will ask questions to see other peoples opinions. Some ask as doubts to those certain beliefs. As someone who believes in God can they say they know the answers to everything? Uh nope. That's why I'm agnostic I can admit to not knowing everything!

This ceased when I discoverd Fredrich Nietzsche, and Anton Szandor LaVey!
Then I found out that the God I was so desperately seeking was myself!

I admit, I do question myself. But I question myself not about the existence of God, but his morale. If God exists, then he is a very sick person or character. He likes to be worshiped by us, and that is I must say sick.
I can prove that with this sentence:
"Then the angel said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!' " And he added, "These are the true words of God." At this, I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." (Rev 19:9,10)
And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all who keep the words of this book. Worship God!" (Rev. 22:8,9).
Dear reader, it is vitally important that you worship ONLY the true and living God. NEVER would an angel or any servant of God ever direct you to worship an angel, any person or creation itself."
If God created the Angels and us, why does he ask of us to worship in him? What, he will destroy us all if we don't. That's so cruel of him. And I tell you once more, God likes to be worshiped. The Angels don't let you worship them. They say don't worship us, worship God. If that's so, than we shouldn't worship even musicians, or actors, or any celebrity, but ONLY God. That's sick!

We're not trying to talk ourselves into a belief in god but trying to talk you out of yours.

Please do not be one of those who are misguided the verses are clear!

[032:025] Verily, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection, concerning that wherein they used to differ.

[032:026] Is it not a guidance for them, how many generations We have destroyed before them in whose dwellings they do walk about? Verily, therein indeed are signs. Would they not then listen?

[032:027] Have they not seen how We drive water to the barren land, and therewith bring forth crops providing food for their cattle and themselves? Will they not then see?

[032:028] They say: "When will this Fath (Decision) be (between us and you, i.e. the Day of Resurrection), if you are telling the truth?"

[032:029] Say: "On the Day of Al-Fath (Decision), no profit will it be to those who disbelieve if they (then) believe! Nor will they be granted a respite."

[032:030] So, turn aside from them (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) and await, verily, they (too) are awaiting.

the only questions atheists pose is about the existance of a god, not about a god itself.
