Two cubicles over i over a supervisor having a discussion whith some of crew. At the end of the upbeat good spirited talk one the the crew says "You are the boss and we will do what you tell us to do." Jokingly the supervisor says "your damn right you will." Then that crew member says "Yessa" before he catches himself and lowers his voice "Yessa massa". I am on temperary assignment here and when i heard this I realized i am the only african american in this section of the building. This is a govenment agency.

a few yrs ago, i hooked up with a close friend. we never discussed it, but i still think about him romantically. we lost touch somewhat but remained friends. recently i went to visit him, i'm not in love and i wasn't expecting anything-i just wanted him to know i love him. before i could, however, he came out as being gay and i'm one of the first he's told. then right before i left, i told him i loved him, gay or straight, and that i needed some closure b/c what happened confused me. he said at the time, he didn't want to reject me. i felt stupid b/c it sounded like i had aggressively pursued him and he was just sparing my feelings. but i normally never act that way with men and i do recall him being forward and initiating things. i doubt i was just a cover b/c no one knew what happened but now i'm just confused and i feel ugly and foolish for thinking what what we had was meaningful. was he never attracted to me? i'm afraid i scared him and that he thinks i'm totally in love with him

It just seems beyong coincidence that the animations and sounds in that incredibley bizzare film are just what its like when your on mushrooms. I was once very privaliged to be with the hongo preistess in mexico and we ate magic mushrooms and we ate baby cakes. She also had a big wooden snake she had painted and sculpted from a branch.

Why would an evil person want us to gain knowledge of good and evil and yet the “good” person wants to keep us from it?

The good person punished us for gaining that knowledge, yet the evil person helped us gain it. If you reverse the use of the words good and evil, then it makes more sense:

The good person helped us gain knowledge of ‘good and evil’ and the Evil person punished us for it.

Any thoughts?

And they did it during the 10 freakin minutes that I fell asleep watching tv. Woke up and saw white toilet paper all in the trees right outside the window ! But then it started pouring down rain and it washed it all away in a matter of minutes... ha ha now the joke is on the prankster ! lol

Let´s assume that everything the Bible says is correct for the purpose of this question:
If God instills a soul into our bodies at birth, it´s not really ours, it´s a divine entity that has any form or substance God wishes to make it. Why should we care about it it then if it is left in our care without our consent, why not letting him save what´s rightfully his at the time of his choosing. Let´s thus say that we receive a useless piece of divine equipment in consignation, unrelated to us, and it´s the only thing that we´re allowed to save at the time of death. Where is the deal in that I ask you?

Ok,I'm white and i've been with my current boyfriend for a little over a year now...when i met him i was in a two year relationship with a black man,I ended that realationship because i fell deeply in love with my current b/f....My b/f tells me it "bothers" him that i've had sex with a black man...i asked him if he's ever slept with a black woman and he said "yes as an experiment not for two years like you:" It doesnt make sense to me when he says this to me because the majority of his friends are not even white,He's really protective over me around his friends...ive tried explaing the fact that i fall in love with men for who they are and that their race or income ect plays no role in matters of the heart but he still seems bothered by it...How can i try to ease his mind over this subject..what can i even say because when this topic comes up it just makes me so angry? It seems to me that if you're concern over if God exists stems from the abundence of suffering in the world, that the greatest number of atheist should be found among those that are actually doing the suffering? The fastest growing Churches are those in Africa and Asia where the most malnurished and poor reside.

I can assure you these people aren't stupid and you'd be racist to claim it.

Why is it that most atheists are relatively well-off? Does their disbelief stem from a feeling that they simply don't need God? Is this a pride issue?

Do the poor and suffering just have a greater ability to grasp the grace and love of Jesus Christ?
