Not that many, and we got a lot of "BIG" kids, teens, and some Parents. I live in Los Angeles, melting pot that it is, I guess a lot of foreigners don't know it is a Night for KIDS ONLY!!!
We shut our doors and lights at 8:00 PM and still got kids pounding on our doors. BRATS!!! The streets were vacant early because it was unseasonably COLD! We even had someone bring their 4 mo old baby out int a scanty bat-man outfit. POOR BABY! She was almost as blue as her costume.

200! Wow. Sounds like fun although it would mean a lot of candy. When I was growing up we there was an area in our town that all the kids would hit and parents would even drive their kids out of the way to hit it. It was a couple of streets with victorian looking homes and they almost all got really into decorating the front and yard. The local newspaper started having someone do a count and the record one year was over 400. We live in a rather rural area out of town now and only got about 20 trick or treaters last night. I love seeing the kids in their costumes.

I would say at least 100, if not more. I went through 10 bags of candy. People in my subdivision have parties and they take all of the kids trick or treating together. And the school down the street has a Halloween party - and those kids come by, too.

I was so upset. I got NO trick or treaters! I had my light on, jack o lanterns lit and even lighted spiders and webs in my windows and no one came. My son's friends didn't even come. The really depressing part is I saw them all night going to houses just down the road.

We only got between 10-15. We live in a small, relatively new neighborhood, so most of the kids go to the bigger neighborhoods.

bunch of little kids at first, then when it got dark at 5:30 they stopped coming i went up the street and found it was packed with kids, none came down near my house. by around 9 i happily exclaimed to myself that the rest of the candy was mine (there was a lot left)!! suddenly a group came to my door and got most of the candy. so in the end i got 30 probably.

I went on a fitness walk (it's a tradition) and there were at least 100 kids on our block. I remember when I was a kid, I went to the same houses twice just to get more candy, it was excellent.

Less than 10! I bought a huge bag of candy, and I thought my sister would be home to give it away and she thought I would be home to give it away. Our parents came home kinda late, so we only got a few kids! I feel awful!!! Now I'm stuck with all this candy!

I had the opposite, I had 2 and they were my next door neighbors. It has been like that for 2 or 3 years. We usually don't bother to even get candy anymore...
