My two youngest children just completed their halloween celebrations in preschool yesterday and today. Way to much candy, and those costumes!!! When did a fun school day turn into a competition to see which parent can spend the most money on classroom treats and a costume?! In Kindergarten it is worse for my 6 year old...we made our costumes for school, the kids loved them. Then when we went to the Kindergarten parade at the elementary we saw everything from $50 costumes (princess and the works!) to a shower, yes someone dressed like a shower! Am I alone in thinking that this is way to much?? Please share your thoughts!

I worked at a bible camp that has been having some demonic activity since I was a camper there, and I'm kind of curious as to why. My brother told me that there used to be a church of lucifer out in that area and that there are a lot of cults currently out there but I want to make sure. And, I wan't to know how to deal with this.

I just read an article where a fraternity was in deep #*+%,because of a Halloween in the hood party. Yes I did read the whole article and I don't see what the uproar is all about and yes I am white. I don't see white people sueing everytime someone of a different color does something to offend them. Maybe if all the different races of people start watching and sued everytime like the black race does, all this stupidy would stop. Am I the only one tired of hearing "Poor Black People" So come on and let me have it!!! I'm a big girl. I give my word I won't sue you if you say anything downing me!!!!

Please note that I don't ask this question because I'm a racist. My adopted daughter are happily married to a wonderful black man and they have a six year old daugther who is half black half white. Problem is this child doesn't fit in anywhere. The beginning of this year she was first put in a predominantly white school, where she was kind of rejected by the white kids. Then they put her in a black school where the black children didn't want to play with her because she was not black enough. This had made me wonder if integration was really such a good thing. What do you think?

We all know the U.S is a religious country, and there's nothing wrong with that, but isn't anybody over there afraid that one day US religions could turn violent say if... the economy collapsed or some other nationwide disaster struck, history has repeatedly proved that when things go 'belly up', thats when there is violent social upheaval.
